He allowed me a tour of the venue so I could see how much space I was working with. On the night of the event, he made sure I had plenty of space for all my gear, he had a stage for me, and he even had room for me to store all of my extra gear. In my 20 year DJ career, I've performed at hundreds of venues. But with Rashad? He definitely takes care of you and made me feel right at home. He's got a really fun venue for those midsize parties! Guests were being questioned, followed around, and treated like criminals over rumors and assumptions. Staff interrupted important moments of the ceremony and repeatedly pulled the bride and groom away from their guests instead of handling concerns professionally and discreetly. Several guests were confronted about their vehicles and personal belongings in a way that felt invasive and intimidating. Families with children were made uncomfortable, and the overall atmosphere became tense and hostile because of how aggressively the situation was handled. What should have been a joyful wedding turned into an evening full of stress and drama caused almost entirely by the venue staff. There are far better venues out there that know how to treat paying customers and wedding guests with respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, professional wedding experience.

There are plenty of chairs and tables inside to sit in, but The Depot fills up fast - especially with tourists. If you want to relax before your train ride to Fort Worth or OKC, get there early. HOWEVER. This is an Amtrak station. And Amtrak is notorious (I mean *notorious,* people) for their trains being late. When I dropped my boyfriend off at the train station last time, they were 40 minutes late. Not cool. Especially when their site still said the original arrival time and hadn't been updated. This isn't The Depot's fault, but The Depot and Amtrak are linked, so that's why I'm docking a star. Amtrak is late because they have to share the railways with Santa Fe, but SURELY there's a way to know when (at least within 10 minutes) the train will be there, and surely there's a way to let your passengers know. As a customer, there's not much to be done, as it's not like you have a choice as to where to pick up a train to Fort Worth that will ever be on time.
