This place haunts me; it has that authentic feel where one is afraid to utter the "M" word if only to respect the generations of actors who've tread there before you. The dressing/green rooms are spacious and re-done with hardwood floors, plenty of mirror space for a cast of 20-ish, and a whole back hallway with bathrooms that's shared with an art gallery. The backstage is small (as it always is), but they've re-done the stage manager's space, installed a beautiful new green velvet curtain and made the balcony usable again. A new soundboard, good headphones, a supportive theatre staff that loves this place and a passionate community makes putting on a production here a dream. A beautiful historic house that's been beautifully restored, and an honor to perform here.

Beautiful building both inside and out which houses New Hampshire historic exhibits. The tour guide…read morewas both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the state's history. Because most exhibits were not interactive one must mainly read the signage to gather information which might not be interesting to non history lovers or young children.The guided tour is strongly suggested and visitors can look around on their own after the tour. The museum is located across the side street from the Statehouse. I visited the the state house first followed by this museum. In hindsight I would do this museum first and then the statehouse to better assimilate the historic information which both sites share. Parking is on street but there are parking lots and garages nearby. Touring the museum can take 30 minutes to over 1 hour depending on your interest in history.

This is an amazing hidden gem in Manchester located in the old airport terminal…read more It's entirely staffed by a great group of volunteers who know a lot about aviation and the history of the airport. The parking lot is right across from the runway and is a great place for plane watching. The $10 admission covers a lot including use of their cool flight simulator which I really enjoyed. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and there are some cool exhibits to view including a jet engine and more! Visit this amazing museum if you're an aviation fan and in the area!

One of the best parts is the simulation which lets you fly the plane - and they said it is very accurate you can fly anywhere in the world and it will show what the landscape is like there. Naturally our resident pilot did an A+ on take off and landing! Such a cool piece of history and not expensive for admission at all. Highly recommend!
