There wasn't that much to finish off but I was seen immediately and was soon on my way with a new policy in my pocket. Service was excellent and friendly as was the case on the phone. In previous years, it was a nuisance trying to get on to this office by phone but all that seems to have changed and I had no problem in recent times. Besides, they are quite competitive and do shop around to get a good price for the customer.

FRIENDS FIRST were charging me 48.70c per month for the last 12yrs and when i rang them and asked them to explain no one could i checked around 5 other companys for the very same policy as i had with FRIENDS FIRST and the nearest quote was 26.20c. one was just 19euro. i thought when i took out the mortgage with FIRST ACTIVE they would at least steer me in the right direction but they done the exact oppiset, its no wonder they are gone out of business. so if your looking for life assurance/insurance shop around and steer well clear of FRIENDS FIRST. The premium was very reasonable and the documents arrived punctually. I was contacted last month to arrange renewal. Again a very polite,helpful advisor and renewal proceeded quickly and smoothly. Emailed them all requested documents Friday evening and today my new shiny fresh car insurance disk was waiting for me in the post .And the best of it the premium has reduced by 200EUR and nearly double compared to the renewal quoted by a different insurer. My company (Aviva) gave me my figure in good time this year. And I was about to pay up. Until I met someone working with a local broker, McCarthy's, and they came back to me with the exact same figure but with one or two handy extras. And the big surprise was that the company they got that price from was none other than Aviva! What is the point of doing all the work on the net yourself if a broker, who does it for you, can come up with a better price. And, of course, you have the services of the broker if something goes wrong. This sounds like an ad for a broker. It isn't. But you know where I'll be going in future!
