They said aggressively over and over silencio, as if we were in the Vatican. Mind you, there wasn't a single person behaving disrespectfully in the large group. The groups are very large, 40 people. They barked their presentation at us as if we were insubordinate young children and they were nuns. The sparking swill we were presented at the end was fuzzy sugar water with a bitter finish. Absolutely undrinkable for a champagne fanatic. I've toured dozens of wineries all over the world, this was unquestionably the worst experience given the rudeness, draconian policies, and terrible product. If you have any understanding of wine, don't waste your time. I suggest visiting the Valley Guadalupe. They produce exceptional product there including brut style sparkling that would surprise and delight any fan of Champagne. The wineries in that region are stunning and the people are gracious and welcoming.

Pro-Tip: They DO NOT offer wine tastings, so be very selective on the bottle purchase. There are three main areas where you can sit: at the restaurant under the tent, on the grass in front of the tasting bar where you can also buy bottles. And a large open area in front of the grass before the bar. Four of us got two bottles of wine. A reserve Cab and a young Syrah. Both sucked, but some employee (presumably) did us a huge favor by jacking one of our bottles while we went and took a picture.
