This was my second tour of three I have paid for with Viajes Rosa Tours. The first tour was a 9 euro per person ticket to Alicante and the tour guide was friendly and very informative about the area driving from La Marina to Alicante. She had a lot of history and local stories to share. I don't remember her name because it was several days ago. I think it was Kathy. She is the reason I'm giving this company 2 stars. The second tour was drastically different. Nothing but a very expensive bus ticket. The tour guide (I think her name was Wendy) didn't tell us much about anything. I arrived at the pick up location at 8:50am and didn't arrive in Cartagena until 11:30am. Once in Cartagena we were told to go to the tourist booth in order to find activities to do for the day. Little to none information was given about the area. We were left on our own to research the area. We were picked up at 5:00 for the trip home, only to hear that our tour guide was leaving the bus early because she lived in the area and that the bus driver (Emilio) would get us home. Before her exit I asked her a question about my arrival back and she snapped at me like I was a complete idiot. I would highly recommend anyone going to Cartagena from Guardamar or La Marina, to simply go to the Guardamar bus terminal and purchase a ticket. It's around 2 euros and you get just as much information about the area from the locals on the bus. read more

My husband and I did you wine tasting day last thursday 17th May. The wine tasting was 2 bottles of Jumilla after trailing around a wine ware house that was most uninteresting. Then we spent and hour in a town that again had nothing to offer. Lunch was in a dark room and long tables like school lunches. We started with dried meats that was not very appetising and the choice of main course was Pork or Fish I had the pork that was cold over cooked and very dry. Coffee was in little plastic cups and I felt that we were not wanted. In the afternoon we had a walk up into a monestry not what I would have chosen, and sadly all in all a very long boring expensive day. I have been on you day before and this one certainly did not come up to your standards, the coach was old and cramped my husband has had swollen ankles since we came home on thursday. A very disapointing day. I look forward to your comments. sincerely Mrs J Hansen read more
