No one really greets you when you come into the service either which was also unusual. But it's not really something you need to have people doing. It's probably better not to allow people get seated quicker. I give them credit though they did not ask for money the entire service like most churches do which is a very nice surprise. I didn't really like the opening music. I prefer low-key just a guitar or just people singing. I don't care for a concert type atmosphere. Just one or two songs really is better. I didn't come to church for the music segment. Pastor seemed nice and also the person who started the Service speaking was extremely nice. They seemed really genuine. If it wasn't so crowded i would probably come back. I don't know if they offer three services in the day but that might help the crowding problem and I would've probably came to an earlier service. Went at 9:30 but I couldn't really tell from their page what time the service is started. I just assumed 930 because that's when most church services in this area start. Even though it's only a couple miles from my home probably will continue looking for church that feels a little more traditional less new age.

It had a change of pastor recently, which has taken time to get used to (as all change requires), but the change was necessary. So far, I still enjoy Gateway NFW even though it isn't my home church for the time being. The congregation and staff are all so friendly, and there is plenty of parking for the different service times. Gateway NFW is a great place to be if you're looking in the area!

Anyways, I attended this Church for the 1st time two weeks ago. HOLY COW! I walked in this building and on the very first worship song I felt the Holy Spirit in this place so strongly that I began to weep uncontrollably. Then the Associate Pastor ( I think ) got up there and delivered the perfect end of the year message. I couldn't wait to go back and see if this was a one off or really real. So I attended the very next Sunday and it was equally as good as the Sunday before. The worship was once again amazing then the Lead Pastor, once again got up there delivered the perfect message on stating the year off right. 3:20 my friend. I have never decided to join a church so quick in my life. I've signed up for the membership class and I can't wait to start serving in some capacity. My…read morestepmother made an appointment with "Dr. Dan", who doesn't even have an office or staff, for me, her, and my father. After the first appointment my Dad and Stepmother never went back (despite telling me they would). Instead of helping me Dr. Dan told my parents that I was emotionally blocked and he didn't know if he could help me. Despite the issues I was having being with my stepmother's baseless accusations of having a drug problem and my father's rage issues I am being forced to seek help I don't need or want by my father. For the first appointment I made a list of issues I wanted to discuss but they were ignored. I went back for a second appointment (to appease my father) and Dr. Dan once again ignored the list and told me all I was interested in doing was telling him stories (how are you supposed to talk about your life and not tell stories). If you want to mess your kids lives up this is the church to get involved with.

The focus of this Church is sharing the Gospel and growing Jesus followers. Come as you are. Your heritage, economic status, and history of sin doesn't matter any more than mine does. God's house is open to all. Not one person's sin is greater than another's. Every person matters here because every person matters to our creator. There is a video archive of services to see for yourself. The message coming from Lighthouse consistently represents the understanding that every person matters. I am proud of this Church and proud to serve God with my Church family.
