They advise you to go for three treatments weekly for a good detox, in tandem with a dietary plan for 95 bucks a pop. One treatment did it for me. I did not know what was scarier...telling my friends that I would be having this treatment, or writing the review afterwards. From one of my friends (who is a healer) who recommended I undertake colonic irrigation to clean my insides out for a good detox...some internal plumbing was in order in laying my dignity on the table. You can see the crap leave your system. Stacks of bile, yet I keep going to the toilet...no bowel discharges for days. It wasn't pretty at the end. Meredith (ever so caring, I love your abdominal massages during the process) took the tube out 10 minutes early. Just to keep things personal, yep it wasn't pretty at the end - my toxic discharge was too much for the tube. However since I had this treatment last week my sweet cravings have reduced; I am sleeping really well - like a baby; I have more baby like skin and my eyes are brighter. Bingo. Seeing the crap coming out of your body through your tube works. You're more careful about what you eat. Despite the beautiful ambience, I felt like I was a hospital patient in my own room with a private ensuite. There were moments of intense pain as a jet of water went up my rectum and was released. My legs felt weak right to my toes, and naturally in the tummy area sharp pains were enjoyed. I even spent the next day in bed editing my manuscript and answering e-mails from the writers I mentor. Now I am careful about what I eat, although my diet can never be bulletproof to their standards. Heck, i'm a leisure and lifestyle freelance writer. I get invited out to cake and to then write about it. I have found it hard to give up chocolate. 150grams today, no good yet my stomach is still great. I am drinking heaps of water and vegetable juice in the morning for breakfast. Not something I will repeat for a long, long time, yet I think colonic irrrigation has worked. I was going away to Europe and dropped in a the 4 wk mark to get my assessment. She mentioned again that results aren't really visible at 4 weeks - my results I went from 39inch - 34inch in my problem areas!!!!!
