This is my review for my move that took place at the end of June out of California. In the beginning, everything was all good. Binding estimate was good and we put a down payment. Loaders get here and start inventory, wrapping, and loading. Half way through the move, one of the men tell me I have reached my cubic feet capacity. I was like well maybe I had a few too many boxes. Turns out to be double the price! We couldn't say no because it was literally our last day in the state, so we had no choice but to pay. Do not use this company they are not reliable dependable and will take your money your belongings and you will be stuck not knowing we're your belongings are. First of all there doing business out of a home so you will not know we're to find the truck with all your stuff. Used them for a long distance move from CA to SC. Was skeptical initially as I received a stunning low quote. After a few updates to the inventory we settled on a price. Texted me throughout Apt keep me updated and answered all the questions. Day before moving got a call with the estimated pick up time. 4 folks came right on time and packed and loaded everything in 2 hrs. I was extremely surprised when I received the stuff in 8 days. Nothing was damaged and everything came safe. Overall I was satisfied with the move. They did charge me about $600 more than the quote. Positives: - Communication - Right on time for the pickup - Extremely fast delivery (8 days for 2500 miles) - Flexible with the inventory right until loading day. - price was unbeatable Negatives: - Not a lot everything went smooth. - if I had to pick one I was charged $350 on delivery as they came in an 18 wheeler to an apartment community. These people don't even deserve a star. They are complete SCAM and they lie about not being a broker, when they ARE in fact a broker. They will take your deposit (via credit card), not say anything about you having to pay in cash for the actual moving and be prepared for your move to cost more than twice as much as the initial quote. This company is a complete scam! They give you a good quote and then when they come to pick up your stuff and get it loaded, they tell you that you have more than they quoted you for and try to charge you more, a lot more! In my case more than 2K more not 2 or 3 hundred, that would even be somewhat reasonable, but 2K???. They are not professional movers, our stuff was breaking as they moved it. They are slick and are even registered with the DOT, but they are a scam trust me. I unfortunately referred a friend before I knew their trick and they experienced the same thing. This company lied about everything to get my business and once I signed the contract, they didn't honor anything they promised. They lied and told me they the actual movers but instead a different company showed up who acknowledged Master moving brokered the deal. They put my stuff in the truck and demanded additional $4500, sadly I didn't have a choice so I paid. They ignored all my emails regarding the delivery date then the delivery guy called me on a weekend and demanded cash for the balance and banks were closed. They threatened to destroy my stuff. Finally many of the boxes came completely torn and ransacked, many items missing and broken. Don't use this company. I Sent them pics of a 10x10 storage which was not full. Stacked no higher than me (5'4") which left lots of space. Even after repeatedly telling them I needed to know when they'd arrive because my storage was 4 hours away, they got toed up and were 3 hours late. I ended up unloading my own storage locker. Before they were done, I was told it would be $1000 more. Gee, do you have a choice when your belongings are sitting on the pavement? That is the price of a 10x10 stuffed to the ceiling with no room. I was given various answers, some rude when I called several times to find out where my stuff was. I emailed many times and no one responded. Every single tub, tote, box, was smashed, dented. A trunk was split, my grandmother's depression glass and various items broken. Also, there was some form of oil on boxes and totes. They fail to tell you they use fly by night contractors to deliver out of the area. And I was also forced to help unload my belongings when Abdul from First Chicago Movers showed up alone in his Ryder truck with my belongings strewn over the back of the truck. He told me "it's out if my control." I'm 67 with a bad back!! But he refused to even open the back of the truck or show good faith on unloading until I paid him. I recently hired Master Moving to relocate me & my kids. The sales team was great with answering all my questions up front. I had tons of them. They were able to give a few different quotes based on my moving needs. A team of movers showed up on time the day of the move. I was nervous because I had a lot of breakable items. So I moved from Santa clarita Ca to San Diego CA and had master movers show up to my house. One thing I will say about the movers is that they are super friendly and understanding. I needed help taking down my 65 inch t.v and they helped with no problems. Another thing I'd like to say is that I didn't finish packing up everything and they also helped with that at no extra charge. Needed to use zelle as payment and Ben was understanding and took payment.  The only thing I was disappointed in was that my estimated cubic feet went up but it wasn't too much. First off they aggressive contact you to obtain your business & politely talk trash about other companies creating a sense of self doubt in your head. Then they tell you that you will get your items in 5-7 days. They lie & say your items are secure & will be placed on a truck in dividers assuring you that your items won't be mixed up with other items & that's a lie as well! They delivered our stuff with water damage, disregarded the "fragile" sign on the boxes, & gave me someone else's items! They broken my entire box of dishes! I spoke to Nicole to get an estimate, she asked for an itemized list of what I was moving. She advised me of how many boxes and what sizes I could add. She stated that I did not even fill the space that I was paying for. On the day of the move, they showed up and said all of my items would not fit the amount I was moving (which had not changed from the original amount discussed) and it was 1,000 dollars more then they quoted me. The movers who came said that this is a common occurrence, the moving company has no idea how items will fit. When I called the company, I left messages and they never called back. When I finally reached them, they advised me I should have refused for them to take my items (which had a deadline to arrive in another state). If I could give a negative star I would. They are scams. Don't use them. Bait and switch. I had a few pieces to move from California to texas. I sent them pictures and they gave me a quote of $1,600 for a bed a couch credenza and a big red chair. Only to find out when Taylor (apparently the guy who picks up for them) tells me I have to pay $570 more (after I eliminated the red chair that were already in the quote)! Otherwise I have to pay more than $1k. Note that he tells me this after he has loaded up and remains vague about how much of my stuff he can take. Very shady. He wanted to load up before telling me. I complained to Taylor and he said this company is notorious for doing this to people and he was just a picker upper. He went on to say how they are all Israelies and they have figure this out (presumably how to defraud their customers). I asked him how could he work with such company with no integrity and he didn't answer. After he totally bad mouthed the Master moving company he tells me how I have to pay in cash at the end and ONLY accepts check for half the shipment now! That should have been another sign for me to know they are not legit. Why wouldn't they take cc?? I called his boss "Ben" to complain and he said I would have to pay $1,000 to unload if I didn't want them to take my stuff! And hangs up the phone on me. At that point I kinda realized I was dealing with shady characters. So the stuff gets to texas and they miss the time window (11-1 pm) they were supposed to deliver. I call them at 1 pm and they said we will be there at 2:30 pm. Mind you I don't live at the delivery property and i had come over waiting for them. I told them I would leave and be back by 2:30. At 2:20 the driver, Joel, calls me and I told him I will be there at 2:30. He said he had told me 2:13!! Lying through his teeth!! I told him to wait. I raced back to the property and get there at 2:30 he was gone!!! He told me to call his boss, Travis! I did...they wanted $400 more!! Because they said they had to move my stuff into a van as a semi would not fit in my driveway!! I told him no one had asked me anything about a semi or I would have told them no. Plus how do I know they were gonna be in a semi?? They picked up my stuff in a normal truck! They said I had signed a contract that I would pay for that. I told them I did not! I sent him the only contract I had signed and they had given me. He sends me a piece of paper that supposedly I had initialed (no copy of that was ever given to me) that says "in case of a shuttle call the office"!!! I told him what does that even mean?? He sends me a Google definition of what shuttle means! These people are clowns. I told Travis in many texts that I won't pay $400 and please bring my stuff back and I will pay the renaming $711.20 in cash as per the original agreement. He never agreed. Later on that night his driver texted me that he is on his way but never showed up. I went over to the property and he was not there when he said he would be. I texted him while walking up and down the street asking where he was...no answer. I have cameras all over that property inside and outside and no one showed up. I scheduled the move with a guaranteed price of $1800.00 , I did not add anything to the move. The owner belongs in jail. These people are thieves. There is nothing I can add that hasn't already been said. They quote a lower $ per sq/ft than everybody else, but then they lie about the square footage, and have everything loaded in their truck and tell you it's going to be double the quoted price. The movers will act like your friends while they rob you blind. They charged me more than $7k for my move quoted at $3.8, which was an estimate that THEY gave me. Okay, this is going to be long. Buckle up. I contacted Master Moving in early September for my move from CA to PA. At first, they were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. I had looked on BBB and seen they were accredited. Decided to go with them. First official experience: They showed up a day early. The driver was supposed to call an hour before arrival, they called in my driveway. Multiple of them asked to use my bathroom, which was fine, but I later discovered they had gone through all of my bathroom cabinets, drawers, and my shower curtain was pulled back. They were very judging, laughing at my belongings with each other until they saw me watching them. They stole some of my tools, left all sorts of trash around my apartment, and apparently had no idea of the items they were picking up. No communication between office and drivers. Delivery: They asked me when my earliest date I would be available to accept delivery was, I told them, and they proceeded to contact me almost a week before that date to drop off 4 days early. Office told me if they couldn't deliver on the date they were trying to, I would have to wait a whole month extra for my belongings. That was my only option since the date I told them was in fact the absolute earliest I would be able to accept delivery. They called back later that day and miraculously was able to schedule delivery on the date I had requested. Come time for delivery, they told me a time frame. After the time frame had come and gone, I tried contacting the driver multiple times to no response. Finally, 3 hours after the time frame, I call the office to figure out where my stuff is, they contact the driver and I am told it would be the next day. Next day comes and they show up 2hrs late, but they show. Here comes the fun part. In CA, they disassembled 3 items. My bed, a Desk, and Our TV. In PA, they only bothered to reassemble my bed without a single washer and a major bolt. Countless items damaged, including our 65" TV that I watched the guy who carried it in slam against a door frame. At least 3 items we have discovered missing, including two items that were packed in a box. Multiple boxes were ripped open, huge holes, with dirt inside. We are still discovering more and more items damaged and missing. One of the guys did complain about how "heavy" my boxes that I, a petite 5' woman, could and did pick up and move on my own, were. I have sent them numerous emails through 3 different channels, their general info@ email, the embedded inquiry page, and Nicole (my representative). I also texted the number they had been texting me on through out the process. Silence. Nothing like they were in the beginning. Beware. And the BBB page that I had found before, gone. At the beginning they were super friendly and emails advised only their employees complete the entire process and provided a certificate of insurance, which I found out later is invalid 1. They provided a binding estimate based on the number of boxes and furniture items we had. The estimate was nearly $3000 more and I found out after the move. They placed multiple numbers on 14 different boxes to increase the price. They told us we could call another moving company after all of her items were on the streets, and they knew they had us in a bind the additional money. 2. They told us as long as we provided a three week notice prior to our escrow closing. They would work with us to get our furniture delivered by the closing date. However, it was changed via email. They would not scheduled until after we close escrow, so we were three weeks without furniture. 3. I called daily to find out when we were estimated to obtain the furniture in boxes, but was told they did not have a date. 4. I called the Friday before we left on vacation to find out if the items were scheduled for delivery the following week and I was advised no 5. However, I received a phone call the following Monday seen my furniture was going to be delivered next Tuesday and the way the money orders were made out after verifying in writing with this company, they were all wrong and I was out additional $5500. My vacation was cut short, I had to obtain an additional thousand dollars for my flight, back home, and the money orders that I originally obtained, and made out the way this company told me too. We're all incorrect. 6. I was advised in writing, and verbally from the company who delivered or furniture. They were subcontractors, and did not handle any of the missing items or the damaged furniture. 7. I have called and emailed over the last 45 days requesting insurance information to have this company. Ignore it. Do not hire ! They are a scam and i should have read the reviews. read more

Warning, these folks are scammers, they will lowball you then falsify your weight/volume and tell you the final price is higher after they have loaded the truck and hold items hostage unless you pay the new amount upon arrival. US DOT: 3674099 MC: 0127548 They create new company names to avoid bad reviews but ultimately you are working with USA Logistics who they will have you do your wire transfers to, you can read the 113+ consumer complaints against them and will see consistency in the experiences. Legal Violations: -Failed to provide arbitration process (required by FMCSA Law) -Failed to provide claims process (required by FMCSA Law) -Illegally changed binding estimate amount after loading truck (this is only permissible prior to loading) -Threatened to turn around and drop stuff off at a warehouse if I didn't agree to the new price (extortion) & once items are picked up the mover is legally required to complete service unless both parties agree to the items being returned -Refusal to deliver unless new price is paid; the original binding estimate should be binding (by definition) unless otherwise agreed to in writing before loading the truck for pick up -Falsified volume (I have written documentation from my independent third party storage unit that my unit only holds 200 cubic square feet; It would be physically impossible to have more stuff...) I also personally calculated the cubic square footage of every item by using dimensions from my furniture receipts (all dims are accessible and publicly available on wayfair) and the standard measurement for moving boxes which is straightforward; confirming that I do in fact have less than 200; they claimed almost 300. I was cursed at and hung up on when I asked them to re-measure before charging me. Broker Not Mover: They are a broker not a moving company, I received calls from 3 different dispatch numbers throughout the process, which when doing a simple phone search come up as 3 separate companies in different states, which means my stuff was brokered out for the move. The company will falsely claim they are not a broker. They also do not provide a list of moving companies that they work with which is a legal requirement for brokers. Customer Service Quality: Hung up on multiple times Cursing and threatening language used on the phone by their customer service reps Not a single email responded to unless they were reaching out asking for more money They will ignore you after they have your stuff, send you straight to a full voicemail This company changes their name often due to bad reviews or likely legal proceedings. This place does not even deserve the one star. I have no idea how they are still in business they try and scam you once your items are already inside their truck. I had everything measured out wrote the exact cubic feet of all my boxes everything was mapped out perfectly. They packed about half the items in the truck and tried to tell me i was at my quote already. The movers didnt even know how to properly pack everything there were holes and empty space in between items. Not only did they not know how to pack the items but they tried to say i had another 500 cubic feet to be packed when over half my items were already in the truck which they claimed was 320 so if over my half my items are packed how is it going to be another 500 cubic feet? They were extremely fishy when trying to call the office and supervisors they were hanging up on me and extremely unprofessional. They told me id be charged $1700 if i want them to take everything out which was MORE then my quote and all they did was pack the boxes in the truck madly and not carefully either im sure i have some broken dishes. Dont trust their cheaper prices they lure you in to try and scam you and pack on all the extra fees. I move out of state tomorrow and completely screwed thanks to this horrible business. YOU DECIDE. Origional email quote was around $2300, door to door, wsing all company drivers and trucks. I Sent them exact weights and dimensions for factory new furniture. The finished cost went to well over $5500. Instructions for pick up at large Ontario CA factory warehouse were between 11 and 5 any day "but" Wednesday. Pick up drivers could not and would not follow instructions for simple pick up at factory new furniture warehouse. Warehouse on Tuesday would not open till 11am. They Left before they got the furniture. Very argumentative dispatch person. Cost me a $500 With Zell to get them to return. Of course they returned Wednesday, contrary to the instructions, and the door was locked. Cost another $500 to get them to return on Thursday.They could not find the loading dock so wasted an extra hour driving around the building at this very large furniture warehouse.Simply incompetent.Then they announced they would not pick up the material without a 70% check for the remainder of the invoice even after the down payment and the additional $1000 for return trips. The original quote was $2300. The NEW invoice was now $4800 for the full delivery plus the Extra $1000 COSTS and the $1000 down payment. Arrived in Seattle destination 4 days late with subcontracted driver, a good team, but required $1800 cash to release furniture. read more

NO - RUN AWAY - DON'T USE THE office off Paseo Elegante in Oxnard. They took advantage of us seniors moving from CA to Arkansas. They tell you that their cost is less than using pods but they inflate the costs at the end. The initial rate is very low, they don't update the inventory lists exchanged from us to the office to their moving personnel which inflicts an additional, unexpected service charge. They don't streamline communication - not organized. They charged us for the transfer of our household belongings from a semi to a box van because they didn't investigate the area initially to determine if they could use a semi to move belongings into the area. That's their responsibility not ours. Some random person from their office had done a google search and made this determination. They told us they would initially not be in the destination area until a certain date but then were FURIOUS with us when their team arrived EARLY with our belongings and only 2 movers. They severely stressed my husband almost to a point of a heart attack. A delayed escrow close not in our control prevented us from being able to offload items. We haven't found a couple household items. There was relatively NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The independent contractors working for them were helpful--only 2 unloading our belongings once arrived in Arkansas. YOU are at their mercy all the way. We want some of our $ back. read more

Please don't be a victim of this company. They are a broker and they only care about money. They assigned my moving job to the worst most poor quality company called Bison Relocation. They dented and damaged every piece of furniture I own, I even watched one of the movers dent my brand new fridge in front of my very eyes. They also stole much of my things!!!!! I moved to a new house and in preparation of this move I have been purchasing items for the home for almost a year, I left most of these brand new items in their packaging and lo and behold they were STOLEN, right before Christmas coincidentally. I have opened every single box by now and I cannot locate a handful of completely brand new items, seems they were carefully selected because these items could be resold in their brand new packaging. Shady. I also worked with a Master Moving agent over the course of HOURS on the phone to create a very accurate and detailed inventory list for an accurate quote (at least within a couple hundred dollars) - on the day of the move, the moving company that Master Moving contracted for my moving job told me I had to pay $1500 more to move my stuff after it was already almost all completely loaded onto the truck. What was the point of the inventory list? I even counted down to every single box. I actually had LESS stuff than what was disclosed on the inventory list because I ended up giving a lot of stuff away to my brother, I should have had extra room on the truck.
