Well, with the recent heatwave that happened, I was in the neighbourhood, saw a parking lot, and decided to stop by. It was 36°C outside. With the humidity, it was much hotter. I am crazy, but I am glad that I stopped by. I walked around the park. It's picturesque and I can understand why folks choose to get wedding photos taken here. There are plenty of benches around. The bike and walking paths are generous. There are a ton of bridges over the water. Lots of folks were out and about. I also got to say hi to a dog and his owner. For kids, there's a splash area. There were plenty of cheerful kids cooling off and having a good time. I liked the canoe that was at the park. It was different, but a good fit. I spent nearly an hour there. I left fearing that I would be a water blob from the heat. I will try coming back here when it's not as humid. It's the perfect way to relax, take a stroll, and take photos of this beautiful park. However, perhaps because it is newer, Cassie Campbell is a little nicer. What I like about it is the giant glass walls that allow you to see outside. It really makes the place seem bigger and non-claustorphobic. The layout of the gym consists of all the workout equipment in the centre, and a track circling around, with the corners available for stretching exercises. Basically every piece of equipment one could need is here, and then some. The membership fees are reasonable. I bought a month pass which is only $40 if you are a student, otherwise its closer to $50. For a one time pass it's $7 for a student and closer to $10 if you are not a student. There are also a lot of other activities and classes since it's a community centre; however, I can only comment on the gym part since that's all I really used. If you are looking for a place to workout, I recommend at least trying out this gym, you might end up loving it. Warning, depending on which side you come from on Chinguacousy you may have to pull a U-Turn to get inside the parking lot lol. . . but bonus though, if you buy a pass to any Brampton city gym, you gain access to all their gyms.

The park is really nice and green. There's lots of do here, and great for picnics, kids etc. There's lots of grassy areas and picnic tables to set up your lunch, also you can find a spot right by the riverside. The park seems really dog friendly as well, and not sure if it was allowed, but saw lots of dogs run off the dock and jump into the water. For kids, there's also a carousel on the weekends and a small train that goes around a designated spot in the park. Parking is free. There's also the really nice Floral Clock (no flowers on it this time) and Gardens, which could be really nice for photos. It was so relaxing here and lots of explore and lots going on!

There are big recycling and garbage containers available around the park, specially in picnic areas. There's a playground with the washroom close to it. So, it perfectly works out for the kids! Lol Although the hiking trails are short, they are beautiful as they stretch along the Bronte Creek. During summertime, you can book your free parking on their website.
