Adult World sells pleasure enhancing toys for both men and women and the selection is something that needs to be seen to be believed. We ended up buying some candy underwear, presumably a garment that is meant to be eaten whilst worn in the bedroom. I hope the happy couple appreciated the thought we put into the gift. I was itching to leave but my Girlfriend insisted that we stayed a little longer to browse the selection of magazines and videos. The magazines and videos cater for all tastes. Whether you are gay, straight, bi, trans or anything else, Adult World will have something to suit your needs. They also have a cinema on site, but we vetoed a viewing in favour of a real film from a rental shop to be watched back home. While we were shopping for the gift, many men and women entered and exited the cinema with a cagey and furtive glint to their eyes. Not for the faint hearted.

I can't comment on the cinema as I only walked through it but it looked servicable enough to me. I was then offered a private dance by Candy and I accepted. Now in the strip clubs I've been to a PD takes place in a dimly lit area where you have to have night vision to see anything. In Adult World it was totally different - I could see Candy's dance perfectly well in a well lit booth and what a dance it was. It blew my socks off and was the best PD i've ever had. I must have been past this shop a number of times without even realising it was there. The outside window display had 2 mannequins in, each of which were extremely scary! They had on pretty cheap looking outfits that were meant to be sexy but instead they looked quite old. Inside wasn't much better. It had a typical warehouse feel which had been stocked full of adult shop items. If you know what you're looking for you could probably find it with ease but if you just fancied a browse perhaps a smaller shop would be better.

It's a friendly store, however you can only purchase in store as they do not have a website, are not on Facebook or Twitter, and do not sell Gift vouchers. Opening hours are 10am-8.30pm Monday-Friday, and 11am-4pm on Sundays. Surely there must be better outlets for this kind of stuff, this was a bit bland and boring, didn't get my juices going.....

Located close to the Dragon Inn Wetherspoons, this adult shop is aimed at the gays - as signified by a shopfront that features images of various muscled blokes promoting their bulges in colourful underwear. Be prepared to answer some awkward questions if walking past with a child in tow... Upon entering, it soon becomes clear that this shop is aimed at two sub-sections of gay men. The first is the fashion-conscious guy who likes to sport the latest AussieBums or other horrendously overpriced branded underwear. Indeed, the metrosexual man may also want to shop some of the store's flash undercrackers if not put off by the out-there storefront. The second subset of gents likely to visit CZ are ones who are quite clearly kinky devils. Various sex toys, aids and gear (bottomless wrestling onesies, anyone?) are available - whatever floats your boat! I can't say I've ever made a purchase here, but I'm sure this does the job nicely for those in the market for some non-Primark pants or a rubber interpretation of a porn star's veiny phallus.

They do have a large selection of underwear in all the latest new fashions and colours, swimwear, vests and tshirts, thongs, sex toys, condoms, books, calendars, DVDs, keyrings, magazines, cards and gifts. I found the items were overpriced compared to what you'd pay for similar pants in other leading shops in the Bullring for example. I did buy a cheeky and rude Birthday card for a friend, who doesn't mind hunks in trunks on the cover! I've found they also keep their stock upto date and seasonal, so new fresh clothing, accessories and garments are great, just don't think you'll get it cheap or at a bargain.
