I knew what I wanted to buy when I went there which is always easy but trust me when you get into one of the shops, you cannot help but have a little wonder around. I am going to give you a little warning before you continues, this review does contain rude things so please do not read on if you get offended by things of a sexual nature. - What is Ann Summers? Ann Summers is a shop which sells gorgeous lingerie and then sex related things. I should warn you that if you do not like sexy and rude things then you will probable not like this shop or my review so just skip to the verdict at the end. - Where can you find one? Well Ann Summers shops are popping up everywhere now but if you go to http://www.annsummers.co.uk then you will find a store locator so you can find your nearest store to visit. The shops are very distinctive with the huge Ann Summers name branded across the top of every shop I have seen. The writing is usually red and in a very simple font and the symbol by the writing is an apple with a bite taken out of it. Every store you look into actually looks quite dark but trust me it is good inside. - The Shops: Now obviously they are going to vary depending on where you are but I have three near to me and all three of them as I said earlier are quite dark inside. I am not sure why they do this but they all seem to be the same. The shop windows are very clean and well presented usually with a special offer on show if there is one and some of the latest lingerie collections on the dummies. As you walk in I think you will notice how small the shops do look. In my opinion this is because they tend to stock the shelves really well and get as many products as they can out onto the shop floor which is good because you can usually find what you want. The stores are all set out the same as far as I know. You will find that lingerie is at the front of the shop and set around the walls on shelving. In the middle of the shop there are usually stands which contain toys and games and just basically little bits and bobs such as Christmas gifts for Christmas. The back of the store is where you will find the X rated stuff which is basically your vibrators, sex videos and bondage gear. All shops should have a changing room too so you can try on before you buy. The shops always look neat but they are quite hard to get a wheelchair or pushchair around to be honest. I used to take my friend in a wheelchair and we found it difficult if people were clogging up the aisles as they would then have to move to let us through. I think they are within the minimum standard for space between aisles but still it is tough in all the stores I have been into. - The Products: Now I know you have all been waiting for this part of my review (well the guys anyway). Now skip if you do not like rude things. I will start with the lingerie. Now the lingerie is fantastic and they generally do sizes from a 30A to a 38F in bras and sizes 8 20 in briefs and thongs. The underwear is quite expensive usually with a bra costing £25 and thongs costing £12 but they are fantastic quality. The range they have at the moment is very sexy and when you try the underwear on you feel great and girls I really believe your partners will appreciate any set from this shop. I would recommend at the moment a range called Madame Fifi which is gorgeous. Yes you will find that every range has a name so if you know what you want you can just ask an assistant and she will find you the sets. Now we move onto the dressing up section which is absolutely great. All girls should try on one of these outfits which consist of a nurse, air hostess and masseuse. Also for Christmas they have a sexy Santa outfit. I know that you all are thinking no way but dressing up can do wonders for your self esteem and your sex life. The outfits are very sexual with a lot of leg and cleavage on display and cost around £35. I can guarantee that if you try one on girls you will love it on yourself and be so tempted to buy one and yes they are very comfortable. The bondage section is one I never visit because to be honest it scares me a little bit but they do have one so you can buy handcuffs, leather whips, tape and outfits which leave almost nothing to the imagination. They have a good range though if you are into that type of thing. The naughtiest section I am sure in many peoples books is the sex toys section which contains your vibrators basically and they do have a huge range. If you are new to sex toys then they do what is called a buzz starter kit which is £20 to ease you into it (no pun intended). I must have been past this shop a number of times without even realising it was there. The outside window display had 2 mannequins in, each of which were extremely scary! They had on pretty cheap looking outfits that were meant to be sexy but instead they looked quite old. Inside wasn't much better. It had a typical warehouse feel which had been stocked full of adult shop items. If you know what you're looking for you could probably find it with ease but if you just fancied a browse perhaps a smaller shop would be better.

Be prepared to answer some awkward questions if walking past with a child in tow... Upon entering, it soon becomes clear that this shop is aimed at two sub-sections of gay men. The first is the fashion-conscious guy who likes to sport the latest AussieBums or other horrendously overpriced branded underwear. Indeed, the metrosexual man may also want to shop some of the store's flash undercrackers if not put off by the out-there storefront. The second subset of gents likely to visit CZ are ones who are quite clearly kinky devils. Various sex toys, aids and gear (bottomless wrestling onesies, anyone?) are available - whatever floats your boat! I found the items were overpriced compared to what you'd pay for similar pants in other leading shops in the Bullring for example. Of course La Senza is also known for its fantastic lingerie and in this review I will try to explain to you why I cannot walk past this store without going in and usually buying something. - The shop itself; Now when you see a La Senza store they usually look very airy and inviting. The sign will be in very large writing which has a very funky font. Usually you will see a splash of a very mellow yellow colour as many of the La Senza stores by me have their sign in silver writing and then the background is yellow. La Senza stores are always pristine looking and very clean. The window displays are always of the highest quality and feature new and fashionable items that are sold within the store. In sale periods the window displays will change to some of the best sale items you can buy. As I said before the stores always look very airy and in the stores by me there is plenty of room for wheelchair and pushchair access. Atmosphere in the stores is very relaxed and you won't get loud music playing in the stores as they play music at a very low level so you can just about hear it. In one of the stores near me they play the radio which is a nice change. As you walk into the store you will be able to see the entire shop which means you will be able to immediately locate what item you are after and where to find it. In the main store that I go to which is located in the Bullring in Birmingham, immediately when you walk in you are surrounded by nightwear. The lingerie is located on the side walls so that it can be hung up properly whereas the main shop floor is taken up with the bigger clothes so the pyjamas and nighties and dressing gowns are located here and can be easily seen. With the lingerie on the walls it also means it is easy to see and identify the different designs. Clothes are also kept in styles so when you see something you like, all sizes will be kept there so you can see if they have yours in stock. Any special offers there may be will be easily identifiable by labels located by the selection it refers to. There will usually be fitting rooms towards the back of the shop which will be clearly labelled and there will usually be an assistant there to help so if you do need another size then you can just ask them to go and fetch one for you. There will be one main sales desk to the store where you can pay for your items and also return them. There is usually two people manning this till and they work pretty quickly. The tills are always immaculate with small items on offer to buy such as little bags with beads in to make your drawers smell nice. - The clothes; First let's start with the lingerie. Absolutely fantastic! There are styles here to suit everybody so if you are after everyday, t-shirt, sporty, cute, sexy or wow factors then you will probably find something to suit. The bras first. They come in sizes from 30AA and go up to 38FF so the majority of people should be able to get the right size for them. In most La Senza stores there will be a bra measuring service so you can get the exact right size. The majority of bras (except for children and sporty bras) will be under wired so gives us women some support. The quality of the material used is fantastic and you can buy just normal bras or they do sell padded ones too or silky or cotton so again giving you a good choice. A bra will usually cost you in the region of £10 25 but trust me you get what you pay for as they last a hell of a long time. The knickers. Again fantastic range and you can choose anything from thongs to those little cute short knickers that are all in fashion now. The knickers will come in sizes so by 8, 10, 12 etc or you may have to choose from small, medium or large. The selection is fantastic and usually you will be able to get the matching briefs to a bra you have chosen. Now to my favourite La Senza items, the nightwear. Now you can buy nightwear for all occasions from here and it is all really cute and of a great quality. You can usually find something for every occasion so short pyjama sets for when you are warm, trouser pyjama sets for when you are cold, nighties for when you are feeling ill and you do not want anything to cling to you and sexy pyjamas and slips for when you are in a sexy mood. The pyjama sets are usually the first thing you see when you walk into a store and they have a range of different colours
