Boux Avenue has been a long time coming - signs proclaimed it's imminent opening for months before it actually happened. And now it's here, and all I think is 'meh'.
They have plenty of pretty frilly knickers and bras, and handily go up to an H cup (I'm not quite that large, but I *do* get excited when I find fun underwear in an ample F!) as well as going up to a size 20 in their knickers so they cater for a wide range of women. This is a good thing, and the prices are really very reasonable - but for no real reason I can put my finger on, I just feel that they're another La Senza with nothing to massively distinguish them from one another. The fabrics they've used are nice enough, but don't feel particularly luxurious (though knickers for £6 are never going to be silk!) - so this is more the kind of shop to go to for something fun and flirty. read more
