Never contacted us to let us know why. When finally called to ask, three months later, was told she didn't know mom well, she was only a part time volunteer and, God wouldn't want her to cross the line of inserting herself or checking to make sure . Nor should she be responsible for trying to clear up any misunderstanding because she heard all about us from street gossip " your mom died and death is messy, so, how was i supposed to know it was still the same?" Would never go there and will tell everyone else never to go there. Not very of God in my opinion, especially when I was told mom was a part time volunteer that she barely knew so, she shouldnt have to worry because " it's not a line Jesus wants me to cross ".

NCFC is very much missed by myself and my family. My husband and I have learned so much in Biblical history, teachings and learning to test everything against God's word. We have had so much spiritual growth there and we have been blessed to make life long friendships with the members there. We weren't fond of the cold winters and snow in upstate NY but we NCFC truly made it worth it. (By the way we lived 25 minutes away but the drive was worth it). We know that if we ever go back to Fort Drum, we have friends and a home to go back to

The kids love it and we do too. I remember one thing that drew us there was that we never felt judged for having a child with special needs - he was accepted for who he is - and we still feel that way. The pastors are a great team and I love that they work as a team and share Gods word with us. I could say so much more but I guess you will have to ask me when you visit :-)
