My Name is Richard Fasano and have visited the office on Oceani numerous times sinc March 2025…read more After I was informed By Dr. Kung I would need Cataract surgery in both eyes, I expressed nu concern since I was very uneasy about anyone or anything touching my eyes. I explained I was very nervous and was told not to worry that I would be given something on that day to keep.me calm. The first surgery for the right eye lens removal by laser was June 17th, 2025. After I had the anestholigist put in the intravenous she went to.lunch leaving me on my own scared ro death. With Dr Kung telling me to.man up in other words and to cal. Down or get off the table. Somehow I got thru it and the lens was removed. 2 weeks later on July 1st almost the same scenario and only after my prtests did Dr Kung give him something to calm him down. Then I was ok and lens put in all done. Within a month I could see better and eventually drive without glasses. Here's what's bothering me, in the past 6 months I have e been back to the office many times for followips by DrCampbell a phenomenal Dr with a great bedside manner. However in that 6 months I have never seen not even once Dr Kung asking me how I was doing or feeling. That's just not right even a phone call to check on my progress would have sufficed. Multiple times, she assumed things about the cause of my issues that were common causes, but in my case could easily be ruled out. She refused to listen when I explained why such causes could not possibly apply to me. If you are looking for an ophthalmologist you can trust, do NOT go here.

I met with Dr. Yu in February, and from the very first appointment, I knew I was in good hands. He thoroughly explained what was happening with my eyes and walked me through the next steps with patience and professionalism. Although I was nervous about having eye surgery, the outcome has been incredible. After wearing distance glasses for over 15 years, I no longer need them! Dr. Yu truly gave me my vision and quality of life back. I would also like to commend the entire staff. Everyone is professional, accommodating, and efficient. Unlike many other medical offices, appointments are handled promptly and you are not left waiting for hours. I highly recommend Dr. Yu and his team to anyone in need of eye care.

Title: Terrible Experience - Please Be Careful…read more I had my cataract surgery done here, and it turned into a nightmare. I went in with very high eye pressure, but they still went ahead with my left-eye surgery as scheduled. During surgery, my capsule broke. The surgery center didn't even have the proper lens for the sulcus, so I was left without a lens in my eye for two weeks. Later, they performed another surgery to implant the lens. Unfortunately, due to the trauma from the first failed surgery, my cornea became swollen, followed by consistent inflammation. Six months later, Dr. Kung told me that there were leftover fragments from my natural lens causing infection -- and that I needed a third surgery to remove them. All of this led to corneal edema, loss of vision, ongoing inflammation, and constant pain. After consulting two cornea specialists, both confirmed that the bad cataract surgery caused all of these problems. Now, the only solution left for me is a cornea transplant. I am terrified and deeply regret trusting this place. RUN -- do not risk your eyes or go through the misery I'm experiencing. On top of everything, they ran many tests on their machines and charged me a lot of money throughout this ordeal.
