There is a mixed martial arts business and fitness gym located directly next to the facility. The parking lot has painted lines but also is made of gravel and has several holes. Basically, you wouldn't expect the Concentra to be located there, but it is. I imagine that another franchise or business used to occupy the space before they assumed this location. When you walk in, you feel a bit confused as a customer if you've never been to an urgent care-style business because there is little direction and the customer service leaves a bit to be desired. Since I have been to standard medical offices, I surmised from past experiences in those settings, that I was supposed to sign in, fill out some paperwork, and then wait to be called. The waiting room is old and not obviously unclean, but definitely not super sterile and hygienic, how you might expect a medical facility to look and feel. I waited about ten minutes to be called, and then another ten minutes to be taken back for the drug screening. The staff are thorough and efficient, and I was able to leave the facility within thirty minutes of arriving. Overall, I would much rather go to a nicer facility to have these sorts of tests completed, but if I'm short on time and have no other option, then I guess this place isn't the absolute worse case scenario.

The team is efficient and responsive. They provide good quality care and even when they are busy you get seen very quickly. There is a Harris teeter pharmacy and a target nearby which is convenient if you need supplies/medications. Street parking is sometimes tight, but there is a parking lot around the corner (if front of 7/11 and qdoba).

They told me I had to self pay and they don't submit to insurance, and they repeatedly told me that they are an urgent care center and don't provide physical exams. Since I didn't really need a physical, just one booster vaccine and the form signed, and they said they could do that, I agreed. But they also gave me a price list with 3 different types of "physical " exams listed!! But still said they don't do physicals. Then the NP checked my vitals, gave me a booster, and signed my form. I was charged for the vaccine ($90) and also charged $115 for the signed form, per their price sheet for "physical" even though they continued to say they don't do physical exams and did not provide one!!! So, $115 for a signature?!? Ridiculous and they don't seem to know what they are doing.
