I sent Sky an e-mail shortly after my fiancé and I decided to get married in Las Vegas and she replied within 20 minutes. Within a few e-mails back and forth that evening I felt that I did not have to look for any other vendors. Prior to finding Sky, I had filled out a lot of contact forms with other photographers and I felt like none of them had actually read what I filled out. Their e-mail back to me would ask me things that I had already given information about. With Sky, she actually took the time out to read everything I wrote. She also asked questions about me and my fiancé. No one else had really done that before. This definitely set Sky apart from everyone else. I was first drawn to Sky's work because it is colorful and fun. I knew I wanted video because my fiancé and I were eloping and would not have anyone else joining us, but I did not want to have to find one vendor for photography and another for videography. The problem was that I never really cared for video, and I couldn't find any examples of work that was my style. Then I saw that Sky offers stop motion films. It was perfect. I loved how whimsical Sky's stop motion videos are. I love that she makes the wedding rings and shoes dance across the screen. I had finally found a video style that felt like me. I had only been to Las Vegas once about 7 years ago and my fiancé had never been. I had asked Sky for recommendations on where I could take photos. She recommended the Neon Boneyard Museum and I am so glad that she did. I feel those photos she took are so unique. I also told Sky that I was in love with colored smoke bombs and she helped us find that perfect backdrop. This is one of my favorite scenes in the stop motion video. The package that I had picked included an engagement photoshoot. I really didn't think I had time for one since it wasn't in our budget to fly out to Vegas in the months before our wedding date. Sky had insisted that we schedule the shoot and made time in her schedule for the night before my wedding. I am so grateful to Sky. She was in San Diego the morning of and had driven back to make sure that we had time for an engagement shoot and also that we made it to see our Cirque du Soleil show on time. Sky is super patient. I am so awkward in front of a camera! Sky would just talk to us and make me feel at ease. I am glad Sky insisted on the engagement shoot and I have a lot of really lovely photos. I am glad that I have a nice mixture of photos from our wedding trip. The day of the wedding Sky arrived to my room and was keeping track of time. I felt less awkward in front of the camera thanks for Sky and the engagement shoot the night before. Sky had so many creative ideas for the stop motion video. It was so fun and she was so patient in getting me out of my head. I have so many photos of our wedding day. Sky is very amazing and I am lucky to have been able to connect with her. My husband was so impressed with the amount of time that Sky spent with us. Everyone has been blown away by our stop motion video and our photos. Please do not hesitate to book with Sky. I don't take a lot of photos of myself because I am not comfortable in my own skin, but I love ALL of my photos from Sky. She spent a lot of time with us on our wedding day. We started the day around 7am and ended around 8pm. Not once did Sky complain. We were practically on our feet the whole day bouncing from location to location. You will get outstanding photography that will make everyone you know - even people who know good photography - ooh and awwwwwww. Being "of the industry" i took particular interest in researching Atlanta photographers as we planned the birth of our son, Jesus. Just kidding, his name is Asher. Anyway...blaspheming aside... Jess rose to the top and while i had particular concerns with her rates and policies regarding use of photography (again, just an industry thing) we jumped in. Jess's studio is in Brookhaven, in the basement of a very nice house. Of the probably 1000 square feet of space, perhaps only 150 square feet is dedicated to the studio but it's more than enough. Actually, it was very efficient. Natural light casts on the shooting space and Jess quickly and efficiently changes out props and settings to get the best shot and the most variety possible. They have a storage space that also has additional props and she rolls with the punches if you have a creative suggestion. She's also a complete infant charmer despite, to my knowledge, that she doesn't have a kid of her own. She knocked our dude out in no time with a few taps to the rump. Our photos were exactly what we expected - everyone we know adores the photography and we'll absolutely get our use of them. While we ordered our announcements on our own, we did purchase the digital rights to a select number of photos as well as a few photo books that included all of the selects. We kept one and gave 1 to each of our sets of parents and they show them off like they were bars of gold wrapped in platinum. Everything turned out great. When you consider what you'll do with the photos, I would advise you to consider what is the value of 3 or 4 photos that you'll use over and over and/or display for years and years. I think you'll come to the same conclusion i did - paying a little more (or a lot in some cases) is worth it if the quality matches your expectation. It did mine.

The photos were breathtaking, but we decided against scheduling a shoot due to financial considerations. After our daughter was born, I reconsidered that decision. Our little girl was truly a miracle and a blessing. My wife gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl last March after years of trying. I decided to give Jess a call. Jess likes to schedule newborn shoots within the first 14 days of birth and I had called to schedule a shoot with Heidi on day 12. Remarkably, Jess made time in their schedule to fit our little girl in on Good Friday that same week. Heidi was a true professional in every stage of the process. Her photography was masterful and I was blessed to be able to see her work over the course of a 3 hour mini-shoot. She kept the studio on the toasty side and blasted a white noise machine to help soothe our little one into the perfect poses. It is still remarkable to me how Heidi was able to capture these incredible shots, but I have the photo album, prints and birth announcements to prove that she did. My wife and I could not have been happier with the finished products. They are absolute works of art. Heidi also recommended the right layout, colors, fonts and page thickness of our photo album and created the most beautiful birth announcements we could possibly imagine.
