Buyer Beware....My $17,000 Jim Robinson Ford Lincoln Toyota car purchase experience. I purchased a 2008 Pontiac Solstice June 26, 2021 after qualifying for credit with credit score of 850 and providing $2000 down the previous Friday. Ryan my sales person setup the sales date of June 26 based on the completion of the car's presales inspection. Once at the dealership, and signing financing contracts I was informed that a mistake was made by the dealership in assuming an extended warrantee could be added to the financing, this error force me to pay an additional $2300 out of pocket to receive the warrantee and took 3.5 hours to correct the wrong warrantee document. After completion I was given 2 keys with fobs and discovered neither worked. After driving the vehicle 2 day a water pump and electrical issues were discovered. I passed this information onto Ryan he setup a service date of 7/6/2021 and I was assured the repairs would be done quickly. After being in service 1 day I inquired of the status thru Mark my service representative and he stated the repair the would take hours and they would try to get it in sometime and provided no ETA. I talked to Evan in finance and he agreed that this was not acceptable and he would expedite it. The following day I inquired again of the status and now was informed of a warrantee issue, I called Evan again and he assured it was taken care of, and the car would be done by end of day, or latest Friday. Next I was texted by Mark my service rep that the car needed to be seen by the warrantee company first and they would be postponing the repair until after. I have informed the dealership I am no longer interested in the car because of the amount of deception by the dealership and this is the current status. John Bush read more

I have bought cars from the Robinson family for over 20 years. They are by far the best dealership I have ever worked with. I lived in Wheeling from 1993-2002. Now I live in NY State. Since leaving Wheeling I continue to do business with the Robinsons. I just bought my latest Toyota from them this month. They have always provided outstanding customer service and made the buying process very easy and stress free. The owners--Bob and his son Jim, and daughter Roberta are alway available to provide that extra personal touch to meet with you when you go to any of their dealerships and help you in any way they can. My experience here at Jim Robinson was really as good as it gets. Isaac was my salesman and as far as I'm concerned as long as he is there he will have a repeat customer. Darnell who was helping out with the sale of my 2016 Toyota Rav 4 was also amazing. He took his time to go over all of the features and showed me how everything works, being excited and a bit overwhelmed not all of the info stayed with me. All I have to do is call and either of them is available to answer any of my questions. We were there for so long with paper work and financing and such that it seemed like the four of us (my boyfriend included) became friends. They don't make me feel like I am bothering them if I do call with a question. My first oil change of course was on them, but since I work in Pittsburgh and wouldn't get there until the garage was closed Isaac stayed and waited on me. He made sure that I was going to have a way to work the next day and also volunteered to meet me and get my car. That's customer service!!!! Isaac was also the salesperson to inform me that I was eligible for a refund from gap insurance and money back from an extra insurance policy that I had purchased from the dealer where I had purchased my previous new car. That dealer didn't tell me anything about getting any money back. Kudos to Isaac and Darnell they were and are the best. I also have to say that the finance guy ( I forget his name) made my experience here much more pleasant. Between these three guys Jim Robinson has it in the bag. Hang on to all of them.
