All I need, in life really, are sleeping cats and shelves and shelves of book. it is in a great spot within Bay View that is near coffee shops restaurants, breweries, bars, etc. I always enjoy walking into a used book store. The smell of vintage and well-loved books is a magical thing. Most of the books I picked up were reasonably price and in great condition. The owner (maybe?) was welcoming, helpful, and ready to answer questions about the shop (and cats). Such a quaint and beautiful environment to wander about and find a book (or more) that supports the community. Also, support local, independent bookshops. So much of a recommend!

Be sure to ask about the scavenger hunt--it was such a fun addition and made exploring the museum even more enjoyable. They also have a Where's Waldo hunt, which is another fun touch, especially if you're visiting with kids. The bobbleheads are organized really well, and there's so much to see throughout the museum. It was a little dusty in some areas, but honestly, it was easy to overlook because there was so much to enjoy. Definitely a fun and quirky stop if you're in the area!

They often have ingredients in their drinks that I don't see elsewhere--including urfa biber, homemade black tea syrup, Bittercube bitters and more. Their specialty coffees of September are all cleverly named: I got the Bradford Peach, while other choices include Hoan is Where the Heart Is and Chill on the Hill Chai and the Riverwest Daze. Something else I am excited about is that they recently added coffee flights to their menu--so I'll have to go back soon for that! In addition to their creative coffees, they sell pastries from the new-ish Midwest Sad bakery in Walker's Point. Love to see them supporting local, especially newer local businesses! Also absolutely loved the vibe of the store. I went to visit the new location today - it's beautiful don't get me wrong, but totally different vibe. I wouldn't even know I was in the same store. Inventory was much more limited, and most of it high end, out of my price range and not the every day pieces that I loved so much. I had admired the higher end custom pieces at the old location, but sad that they are now the primary inventory at the new store. I really hope with time they will have more variety and bring a bit of the old vibe back.

They're around if you need them and will also offer to show you the piece you're looking at (instead of waiting around for you to ask). They have their jewelry production right in the back and offer to change a length/clasp/gemstone. I found an amazing vintage watch fob converted into a bracelet, but I didn't care for the chain. The gals offered me a few different vintage chain options and edited the piece on the spot! She was patient when it didn't fit and kindly added an extra link to the newly edited piece. That extra mile is what makes any business stand out from the rest, and I very much appreciated it! There were 4 different gals working and each of them were a part of my store experience. I love that vibe - a nice cross between slumber party vibe, girly pop vibe and artsy vibe. Most of their pieces are sterling silver or brass, but they have a handful of pieces in 14k and gold fill. I got a mixture of both! Their sweet spot price point is "affordable" while some pieces are definitely spendy. I've got my eye on a vintage wedding band for $3k. The store is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! Plenty of street parking in front! Yes they have a bathroom that's roomy and clean (and chic!)
