The owner, Tsetsi, was highly recommended by a plumber that had done work for us. Tsetsi completed our master bathroom remodel as well as renovation of 4 other bathrooms in the house. The quality of work was excellent. He did a beautiful job redesigning the master bath shower. The tile work he did in the master bath shower and around the bathtub was exceptionally beautiful. He also tiled floors in three of the other bathrooms and they are all equally as nice. His attention to detail was impressive. Tetsi also recommended other tradesmen for work on the job such as a plumber, electrician, and a company that we worked with to have quartz countertops installed in each bathroom. The quality of these people was also exceptional. Of note, each of them commented to me about the high quality of Tsetsi's work, and how easy he is to work with. Tsetsi has repaired boards on our deck, managed and built supports under the deck for a hot tub, painted cabinets, built shelves, and things I can't even remember. He can make just about anything happen. The communication with Tsetsi is the best I have had with someone who worked on my house. This was especially important because the house being worked on is three hours from our full-time residence. It was reassuring that he kept in close contact. He was willing to do anything we asked, and he was able to figure out what needed to be done. The cost and timeline were right on target. Tetsi and his workers were respectful of our house and cleaned up after the work was done. We highly recommend TBH Home Solutions for just about any project on a house. I must say there was only the contractors and the truck driver at the scene. Heated words aside, it was merely a mistake. JLJ came highly recommended and they have consistently delivered. They have always been respectful to us, as Robby believes his rep is more important than his money earned. Very disappointing, expensive and time-consuming experience overall. The original quote to repaint…read morehouse was reasonable and we wanted to go with a local small business. Owner seemed great and crew was very friendly and hard working. The job started well but then the first work showed obviously inadequate prep, like painting over old peeling paint and failing to repair or replace pieces of trim that needed to be fixed and that were included in the original specifications. Got that done or redone but then for painting trim around windows they issued a new quote, which nearly doubled the cost of the job and made it more expensive than the competing quotes for more established companies. We went with it anyway because we needed the work finished and didn't have time to find a new painter. But this all dragged on for months, with the crew only present for short periods, and only showing up when specifically badgered to do so. Even now, about 7 months in they still have debris all over the place (though much we've had to clean up ourselves), including empty paint cans and broken glass from several storm windows that they broke in handling, or that broke after falling because they were reinstalled improperly (with others left off entirely). They also failed to fix siding damaged presumably while power washing, and left a substantial part of the original job unfinished despite promising it's completion for months, with a portion of the house still draped in tarp to keep out weather. At this point they seem to have ghosted us entirely, despite regular friendly enquiries and reminders. So all in all this seems to have been a big mistake and we are back to hunting for someone who will take on a relatively small and unappealing job that we still just don't have the time to do on our own.
