Has all the stores you may need as well as some really good gift shops where you can get all sorts of things. Great to browse at when you have to get a gift but have no idea what to buy. Also has a not too bad food court in the centre with a bit of every culture represented. In the holidays they do some really good activities for the kids in the hall or foyer area's of the centre. One school holidays they even had a mini ice skating rink set up and you could take your kids in for a free lesson. One of these places caught my eye and I am so glad I bothered asking! At Confucius it looks like your typical Chinese food court eatery. Options such as the roast duck and rice are available to order from the menu, or there are the pre-prepared dishes you can serve yourself. Without much hope I asked if they had gluten free options and was pleasantly surprised when the serving girl was friendly, polite and SO knowledgable about the products they had. Pretty much EVERYTHING on the self serve buffet was gluten free as they make it themselves on premises using corn flour and potato starch (apart from the spring rolls and dim sums as they are ordered in frozen and premade). I'm talking Honey Chicken, Lemon chicken, the sauces such as teriyaki and soy that are generally so delicious yet so sadly full of gluten. Too many options to remember off the top of my head, which is a good sign anyway. My choice of Roast Duck and rice was filling and tasty. Not the most succulent duck in the world but delicious nonetheless! Also the ginger beer I had was fresh and tasty, with real ginger. Will be coming back here again if I ever need more food-court finery whilst at Marion Westfield!

Like a lot of these large shopping centres, they pretty much have all of the stock standard stores here, whether they be big or small, and of course there is also the food court, which not surprisingly is right next to the cinema. I guess the thing that I don't like about the place is that it really isn't all that accessible by public transport (or at least decent public transport.

These days I have to admit that it is a pretty boring place. They used to have an amusement park of the top level but that is now long gone - at least in Brisbane they replaced it with a cinema complex - here it is just a gym and Lincraft. The selection of shops, at least in my mind, are pretty ordinary, though the food hall is okay. Well, I should admit that I did venture into the London Tavern occasionally, but I have to admit that the place it pretty ordinary.

It really just feels like the centre could do with a bit of sprucing up, and perhaps a proper food court (unless I missed that one) but it certainly looks like a handy centre if you live nearby.

I know, I know: everyone gives the title of Adelaide's Best Yum Cha to Ding Hao or Star House - but this humble little eatery, smack bang in the busy Central Market International Food Court , has lots to recommend it. I end up getting my yum cha dumpling fix here 8 times out of 10. Why? Well, it's open throughout the week (you have to wait for the weekend to get the restaurant variety of yum cha) which is a good start; it's located in the Central Market, so I can get my deli goodies and stop for a coffee at the same time; and most importantly - it's really freaking good yum cha. The selection is plentiful. Personal faves include bean curd, which is cooked just right (soft and not too chewy), perfectly soft sui mai, and the BBQ pork buns are a dream in bun form. It all comes to you fresh and hot and with major flavour and lots of soy sauce and chilli oil. It's got all the staples you know and love, and even better you won't break more than a $10 getting your fill. And while it doesn't have fancy surrounds, the staff behind the counter are always friendly and the jam-packed lunchtime crowd of the food court has a charm all of its own. I've had yum cha at restaurants with Michelin stars. Seng Kee is better than all of them. Hands down. It's not even close. Seng Kee yum cha is the standard by which I judge yum cha. Last year when I returned to Adelaide, I made a special trip because nobody else in the world has been able to recreate that perfect balance of fresh seafood and herbs. How is Adelaide so blessed among nations, as to have the finest dim sum in the world available in a food court?
