Crab balls, fried and served piping hot with excellent sauce that really enhanced the flavors were really nice starter. Sushi rolls and specials were absolutely delightful and super fresh (actually all seafood in Chile is amazingly fresh and flavorful) Waitress was just wonderful, even without us knowing much Spanish, she managed to explain all the specials and also difference between price "efectivo" - cash, and "tarjeta" - credit. Obviously, later is much more expensive, so we paid cash as usual.

We had always walked past this Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant so it was about time we came in - and it was definitely worth it! We started with a perfectly made roll as an appetizer, it had exactly the right cream cheese-rice-fish ratio. Now, here is where we went wrong. I love kimchi and more importantly spice...but both my partner and I over estimated our spice tolerance. We are used to asking for the highest spice level and always being underwhelemed, so here, no different we said we wanted the strongest spice they had--and they held nothing back! My partner, according to the waitress, had ordered the spiciest dish on the menu, the Mun- o dop bap: a delcious rice dish of octopus (unfortunately, it was a bit overcooked), sauteed veggies and a spicy sauce (where on top of the spicy sauce you can choose to add spice) I chose the Kimchi dop bap, traditional korean kimchi (it was delicous I definitely recommend it) rice dish with veggies sauteed in sesame oil. It comes spicy (I asked for extra spice-wrong move). The service was great - our waitress was extremely friendly and the food came out quickly. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic date (although somewhat quiet). Overall, this would have been an exceptional dinner if we hadn't gone over board with the spice. However, we definitely warmed ourselves up on this cold evening. Tip: Pay in cash and get a 30% discount on sushi. Sit on the second floor -- you will have a great view of the city. If you end up making the mistake of ordering your dish too spicy, ask them for "salsa de unagi" a sweet sauce that can help cover the spice. They will give you as much as you need - free!

Not used to the chives or the heart of palm in my cali roll either, that was very different. This is day two and I am homesick for Michigan, because at least I have a ton of great sushi and Korean options. My veggie bibimbap was less than stellar and besides the carrots and the bean sprout it had way too many weird veggies that don't belong in a bibimbap, ever, broccoli, zucchini and red pepper to name a few. It tasted more like a stir fry than a bibimbap.

Maybe it's a chile thing but it kills the rolls. Variety and selection of rolls poor. I ordered the Japanese dumplings and they were equally disappointing. Cold and soft... assumed it's precooked earlier in the day. If you notice in my pic the salmon is thin as a sheet of paper and the rolls are boring. To top it off the sake taste like a fruit juice. Maybe as I said it's a Chilean thing. But I have eaten sushi in every city I travelled and this was the worst. Even in remote china I have eaten better sushi.

Éramos un grupo de 6 y pedimos varios rolls tanto de los tradicionales, tempura y fusión... Todos bien preparados y presentados pero con una espera de aproximadamente 40 minutos desde que solicitamos hasta que llegaron (y eso que es domingo por la tarde y el local estaba bastante desocupado). Aparte de la demora, nada mas negativo. Recomiendo si vas con paciencia.
