I would have written this yesterday but I couldn't stop staring out our windows! Who knew the sun was so bright?! Our windows were last done over a year ago by my husband but despite his best efforts they weren't that clean. Doug and Garrett took care of everything! They moved furniture away from windows, removed screens, and most embarrassingly, vacuumed the wdinowsills because they were dusty (housecleaning is not my forte!). We had all our windows done inside and out and they even cleaned our bathroom mirrors- which go from counter to ceiling. They were fast, efficient, knowledgable, and thorough. It is a pleasure to provide a highly favorable review for ViewRenew. i only heard of this business as of a few days ago as I searched for help to unclog a downspout much too high for me to safely reach. I found ViewRenew here on Yelp and the day after we connected Garrett was here and completed the work flawlessly. In addition I had my gutter fascias cleaned by him around the entire house. It is a major aesthetic improvement! He fully explained his cleaning methodology, which is more sophisticated than just power washing, in order to deliver a longer term solution. Everything was cleaned up completely. I cannot comment on whether his rates are market competitive, as I did not fully research the market. I do feel his charge for the two services was fair and the timeliness of response was exceptional. The website and instant bid process enables a quick and informed response to customer needs. Garrett did a super job for us. Not only did he do the outside and inside of the glass, he did a thorough job on the whole window track where a lot of dust and dirt accumulates. Plus a spectualar job helping me solve a bird problem in my soffit vents. At 30+ feet he installed a fine mesh screen on all the vents and twice used a borax wash solution to prevent any bird mites from establishing a foot hold on our home. He is tech savy and had the apps to look at what mites I might have and just a really great all around person to have around. He has the skills and the right equipment to do the job. I hired Viewrenew a couple of years ago and they did a great job at a reasonable price. The company has since changed hands and Mark Wilson took it over. I scheduled a cleaning of my gutters with them for November 28th. When he did not show up for his scheduled appointment or contact me, I had to follow up with him. He told me that he stopped by my house but that the job was bigger than he expected and could not do it for what the prior owner charged me. He then trippled the price. As it was so late in the season, I agreed because I wanted the job done. He again never contacted me or returned my phone calls. By the time I realized that he was not going to follow through on his promise to perform the service, it was too late in the season to hire anyone else. The whole reason I use Angieslist is to try to avoid unreliable contractors. I guess nothing is foolproof. Maybe I'll check out Home Advisor. read more

He gave me an estimate. We made an appointment. I waited around for FOUR hours and he never showed up. No phone call either.

We needed our gutters cleaned really bad. Garret arrived exactly on time and was very quick and efficient. He made sure to talk to me and explain exactly everything he would do before he started. I definitely needed the gutters cleaned since there was debris in the downspout. Garret made sure to get all of the debris unclogged from all 7 of the downspouts. He also installed mesh filter in the downspouts (extra $) to prevent future clogs in the downspout. I will definitely be going back to View Renew again. read more

I had them wash siding and gutters of my ranch and detached garage. Overall they did a great job, but never indicated they weren't going to clean the outside sill of the windows. They didn't even have to do them all, just the two on the side that I had expressed my main concerns of algae on - as soon as you got to that side of the house it immediately jumps out at you. So I still had to go borrow a pressure washer and take up an hour of my day. Minor scheduling changes as well, but for the price I'd have them back. read more

This company advertises 24 hr emergency service. Called on Saturday morning to schedule an estimate for a clogged downspout pouring gallons of water in the rain storm. I was told it may not happen until Monday (what constitutes an emergency?). Ok, Monday arrives. I call to give an additional number to reach me. I was called and told an estimate would be provided that day. Upon getting home after work, I find no estimate (was told I didn't need to be present). I called again, and was told they would check into it and get right back to me. No call received. Called again Tuesday morning and was told someone would call me back. No call Tuesday morning, no call Tuesday evening, it's now Wednesday...still no call. It's rained four times since my first call. Not 24 hr service, or 48, or 72. The Google reviews were not accurate in this case. Still no call back. I had to get someone else to help me. And no, I didn't do it myself. I'm a middle aged woman with no ladder. read more
