I was so happy at the cost of the quote I asked if he could start the same day. He said no but someone would get a hold of me by the end of the day. They were able to schedule me for March 10th. On Monday the 9th it was raining and I got a call first thing in the morning telling me that the rain was going to put them a day behind and they would be out on March 11th. Later that afternoon they called me back and said that they were able to get some work done in between the rain and the 10th was back on. Tuesday came and they called me that they were still on and would call again when they were headed over to work on the roof. They called back later that morning to say they were on the way. The crew did a fantastic job with the repair work as well as with correcting the original builders mistake. They did such a good job on that work that I contracted with them to replace my aging roof as well. Again, that job was done extremely well. In both cases the crews were careful not to damage any of the plant beds around the house, cleaned up remarkably well and generally left me feeling very good about the quality of the work. I waited a year to post this review because I wanted to test that feeling and be able to review the results over time. Fox River passed the test with flying colors as all of the repair work and the new roof performed as expected. Finally, the price for both contracts was very fair considering the high quality work that was done. Hire these guys.

I observed a neighbor try to get in their driveway but couldn't because the rearend of a pickup was blocking their drive. The neighbor left. The employee, I believe an estimator, who was standing near by walked to the truck but did not move it. The neighbor returned just after the truck left. They were probably too polite to say anything. The next day one of my own family members complained that one of the company trucks was blocking our driveway.

Shortly after the roof was finished we found (unrelated) rot behind some siding, and we hired Tri-County to replace the siding as well. When we got bids for the roof some contractors pressured us to sign a contract (I crossed them off my list immediately). Tri-County never did that; they provided a detailed written bid & never gave us any sort of sales pitch. During the course of repairs they accidentally broke a window & they fixed that with no hassle. We were initially so excited about working with Community Roofing, but our new gutters and roof…read moreended up damaging our home and are quickly becoming an eyesore. We expected our roof and gutters to last longer than three years, and unfortunately that is not the case. We invested in seamless gutters that were supposed to be customized and properly secured to our building, but that is not at all what we received. Community Roofing did not properly fasten the gutters to the fascia, so they are falling off of the building. In some sections, Community Roofing sloped the gutters toward our house instead of the downspouts, creating water intrusion problems. The shingles are already starting to look shabby and some have nails starting to protrude. The customer service has been even worse than the workmanship. We reached out to Community Roofing repeatedly and they just blew us off.

You know the old cliche', if I could give zero starts I would - got a quote in March 2025, and gave a $2,000/cash downpayment, and work was going to start in the "middle of April". It is now August and any communication (if you were lucky to ever speak with someone), was ALWAYS "we'll be there this week", or "see you this weekend". Never showed up or communicated why no one ever came. They did a roof replacement for us about 3 years ago, and we were happy with the results, that is why we decided to go with them again. Too bad their business is down the sewer now, and we will probably have to take the arbitration path to recoup our downpayment
