When you are in the Netherlands you need to eat fish, they have all kinds of sorts you will not find in the US, so you don't want to miss out. Then we enjoyed the 'free choice' a-la-carte menu, it was as always just delicious. If you know to appreciate the value of a real chef and attentative service this is your place for great lunch/dinner. Simply one of my favorites and still a quite well kept secret - with real service, something different compared to most other places in Den Haag/Scheveningen. Looking forward to our next visit. The coffe creme brûlée was great, but the coffee flavor is VERY strong. The hazelnut ice cream & the crumble balanced it all out, but there unfortunately wasn't nearly enough of either on the plate. I also tried some of my dad's orange panna cotta. It was nice - VERY orangey. - Ambience was very nice. Very clean, bright restaurant with a seafood vibe to it, overlooking the water.
