I called Expedia and their staff, including a supervisor went to bat for me, the but Super 8 Motel in Ankeny manager stood by his cold hearted decision. As a result, I will never stay at a Super 8 anywhere ever again, as this is terrible goodwill. Had the manager refunded my money for a stay I never intended, I would have remained a faithful Super 8 consumer. This is very poor public relations in my opinion.
