We stayed there for three weeks. Moved out 1/29/2019 When we moved out, we made sure to take all of our stuff with us. There wasn't anything left, no pop cans, bottles, boxes, etc. We had some mail sent there and when I went to go pick up my friends mail on 2/4/2019, I had to peak into the hallway to find that Trudy, the manager, was cleaning rooms along with her husband, Frank. I just causally asked if my friend's mail had shown up. Trudy then tells me that she sent it back to the sender. She then continues by saying how we left the room a mess and they had been cleaning it for days. I honestly don't know how, but ok? Didn't know vacuuming carpet and doing the laundry for the bedding took multiple days. She kept on, saying "If I ever see you here again, I'll punch you in the face. I don't want to see you here again." All I said then was a simple "OK". I then turn around and walk away to leave. She then tells me "Don't be a smart a** with me, if I find out where you live..." and I interrupt her by saying "Have a good night" as I was walking away. She then proceeds to say "Shut the f*** up, fat a**!". Unless you want to deal with a manager with the maturity of a 6 year old girl, I'd stay far, far, far away from this place. Go to the Boulders Inn, it's just across the street and about a block east. Also, the WiFi sucks.

Roll in shower room was spacious, and the sink and mirror are outside the bathroom. There is a good sized fridge and a microwave and coffee pot. The heat works, and the tv is new. There is a nice new recliner with a foot rest. The only downside is that the bed is a double, instead of queen or king. But, we're not too hard to please, and happy to be so comfortable. Unfortunately, I did something wrong and ended up reserving the room for the wrong date. I contacted them through email and by phone asking them to either cancel the reservation or move it. They said "there was nothing they could do" because I had reserved it online. I contacted my bank and am disputing the charges. Meanwhile, we still needed a room in order to attend a funeral in Eagle Grove. My husband used his credit card and we stayed there. The hotel stinks- as in smells REALLY bad. There are Glade plug ins everywhere and it did not help. The bed was comfy and everything looked clean except for the bath mat and the tiny pebble my bare feet kept finding. This morning, we got a cup of coffee and it was half full of coffee grounds! Gross! If you choose to book a room here, don't use the website!
