I was quoted $475 for junk removal after sending requested pictures. Then once the day was done, and I was willing to pay the $2500 (5 times the original quote), he told me it was $5800 and he yelled at me on the phone and threatened that he was not leaving the property until he got his money. Of course my aunts felt guilted and pressured and I felt they were in danger and told them to go inside and call the police. They paid this man instead. TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION OF SERVICE COSTS. ELDER ABUSE. EXTORTION and THREATS. This man should NOT be allowed on your property. To be fair, my aunts said the work was very good. QUOTES, however, are part of the business of junk removal. He had opportunity to revise the estimate with me along the way and did not. And this vast misrepresentation feels like a set up. And the threats were real.
