Unfamiliar with laundromats, I loaded & started (3) Mega laundry machines (a whopping $9.00 each) by 6:55 AM. 1 of 3 Mega Machines wouldn't start the wash cycle. It was about 30 min b4 I realized it hadn't started washing. It continued to rotate, despite jiggling the handle, and unable to stop it, get my laundry out & move it to another machine. At 7:45AM I texted & called both emergency numbers posted (new owners) listed on wall, for issues. Both phn #'s went straight to voicemail. Slow to respond, I received a text at 8:19AM, from the owner saying "Sorry just waking up. Try setting the temp to warm. I'll be down in 20-30 min to help. Please let me get up n ready. Thank you." Sounds like he already knew that machine wouldn't wash on hot, but had never posted a sign! I did suggest he "post a sign on the machine...", in my text! Meanwhile, my other 2 loads had completed both wash & drying cycles by 8:20AM. The 3rd load FINALLY finished washing at 8:57AM. It's now 9:46AM & I'm going to take my mattress cover out of dryer to finish drying while hanging over deck rails at home. Tired of wasting my valuable 2 day off this week in a hot, humid laundromat. It's frustrating, as I had purposely timed this process so everything would be done simultaneously. I live 20 mins away so can't leave. The owner's lack of oversight cost me 1-1/2 hrs of (extremely limited) time-off. read more

Viking Laundry - Mega dryer needing additional signage! - Laundromat Near Me - Stanwood, Washington

If I had another choice I would use it. This place is so run down and has only gotten worse with new owners. There hasn't been hot water in at least one year The sink that never work got, no bathrooms, large machines are 9.50 a load, some washers are always out of service, many dryers are always out and sometimes not labeled so end up having to take all laundry out and load into a different dryer. The lady that works there hangs people's blankets outside where there are people smoking. She got mad and took my laundry out of the washer when it finished because I in my car feeding my baby. My kids each grabbed a cart from the front to help me and she started yelling at them that they're not toys and stop playing. I had to yell back that they are helping. Same lady also swept inside and outside then came inside and swept the folding tables with the SAME broom. Now my 7 year old even knew that was gross. We bring cleaning wipes every time now. read more

Price goes up almost every time I go in there, most dryers out of order every time and the ones that do work you have to keep feeding quarters because don't get very hot, and there hasn't been hot water for almost a year. Say anything to a worker they say we have another laundry mat in Arlington. Why don't you just get everything working the way it should and people might not feel so bad about the jacked up prices. Came in on October 1st to do a small load of towels that need drying. I inadvertently put $2 into a machine that was out of order. There was no signage on the dryer itself, but after the machine wouldn't start, I saw the little digital signage. The machine would not give me back my $2. I called the number that's listed Inside the laundromat left a very polite message. I just would like my $2 back. I got no return call. I got nothing. A gentleman overheard my conversation with my husband of what it just happened. He told me he had called the owner about an hour before. I don't know all the details about his problem, but he said was not cooperative or helpful and had really bad Customer Service according to him. Beware!! Came in to wash our large comforters. I love the mega wash machines. This is the cleanest laundry mat I have ever been to. There was a lady walking around sweeping, wiping down the folding tables and picking up lint sheets people left in the rolling baskets. I will use this place again. read more

One of the employees was burned out for the day. I came in with my 3 children around 7:30 to only wash not dry 3 loads of laundry and with barely any people in there I was able to start all 3 washers at the same time. I was met with a rude, "are you gunna do laundry?" I replied, "yes" and then she told me to "better get it started cause after you I'm done" Then my 2 and 3 year old started getting fussy and I overhear her ask "can those babies just SHUT UP?" She snapped at my eldest for pointing at what she wanted in the vending machine and accidentally touching the glass saying, "don't touch that! now I have to clean it!" That was the last straw. I found the owners contact info on the wall and called to complain. She must have had a talking to while I was there cause the whole 15 minutes I was waiting for my clothes I received dirty looks. Horrible customer service and I refuse to go back. I'll drive out of town to be treated better. read more

Paid extra for hot wash and it wasn't even like warm. None of the dryers dry for $2. More like $4-$6! The sink is broken. No restroom and freezing cold inside! Find somewhere else! I won't be back here!! F- read more

Updated review after more experience....Few washers are regularly out of order....about half dozen or more dryers out of order every time I come in. This place has drastically gone down hill in a few months. The owners don't return calls or texts. It's extremely unfortunate that this place is the only laundromat in Stanwood. read more

No frills. Everything is there that you think is in a laundromat. Bonus - They have the large washers 60lbs. It's $9 but worth it in my opinion and a cheaper option than getting 2 smaller washers at $5. I just had to come to the laundromat on a one off but if I had to come again I would definitely return and I recommend. read more

No stars for this place! I was doing my laundry and had my service dog. I have brain injuries that resulted in loss of balance, depth perception, and vertigo. I was told my dog could not be there, regardless of explaining they are in violation of ADA laws. The following week, a sign was put on their door. Lawsuit with the DOJ is pending. Had to give one star to post. read more

I'm here have put money in almost every dryer on right hand wall only one gets warm enough to dry anything this place owes me time and money since your phone is no longer in service check your video feed today from 12:00 pm for an hour and watch me plunk my money into your crap machines. As a regular customer of this establishment, it has come to my attention that the quality of services has declined recently. I understand the need for security to protect against thefts but the overzealous signs warning customers that they will be prosecuted for tye dying in the washers, and absolutely NO pet blankets, horse blankets and God forbid you should have to use the bathroom while doing laundry.. I spend quite a bit of money and time each month washing clothes and would hope that some day the machines could ah ha! Maybe be FIXED instead of raising laundry prices to "cover costs". May have to consider doing business someplace else. read more

It's easy to forget how dirty the place was a couple of years ago. The new owner has worked really hard to turn the place around. I feel safe and at least somewhat reassured that my laundry won't come out dirtier than it went in because of inconsiderate users. Still the cheapest wash in the county. I'll continue to support this family owned business. read more
