The service here is very slow especially when it comes to a delivery. Twice now my order has been an hour late or more. So, when we moved to East Bridgewater, my hubs and I were immediately on the hunt for a good pizza place to order from, preferably one which delivers. We drove by Viking Pizza and figured it was either a local gem or a greasy hole in the wall place, and figured we try it sooner or later. Personally, I'm not a fan of the local style of Greek pan pizza that every South Shore pizza spot churns out. If I see thin crust or New York style pizza on a menu, I'll basically always order that, or if I don't, I've learned I'll be happier with a calzone instead. Anyways, we ordered from Viking a few times by just calling and asking for what we wanted. We kept asking them to drop off a menu, and they kept telling us that they hadn't printed any recently, and that the menu is online somewhere. It's not. If you Google Viking Pizza East Bridgewater there are a few hits that imply you can view a menu, but when you click through those sites, the menu isn't actually posted. The website that they have mentioned- vikingpizza.com- doesn't exist. At some point in the process of us doing internet research to try to find a menu, my husband must have stumbled upon the menu for Papa Stelios down the street, because he had their number saved in his phone as Viking Pizza... so half of the times we thought we were ordering from Viking, we were actually ordering Papa Stelios! The fact that we didn't really notice much of a difference between the two places speaks volumes about the food! That said, their salads are worse than Papa Stelios', but their fries are better. The main difference between the two places is the service. When you call Papa Stelios and ask questions, they answer you. They're quick, they're polite, and the pizza is fine. When you call Viking, they're a little slower, a little more surly, and it takes a minimum of 45 minutes to get a pizza which is also fine. Not good. Not great. Not awful. Fine. All in all, it's about what you'd expect from a small town, hole in the wall, greasy pizza joint. read more

Worst service ever!!! I used the app called Slice to place my order, which was scheduled to be delivered around 7:18pm. At almost 8pm I complained to Slice support that my food still hadn't been delivered and was almost 45 minutes late. THEN I received a text at 7:59pm stating my food was delivered. IT WAS NOT... I then called the driver and complained, told he would call me back and never did. Then called Viking Pizza and complained, and was pretty much told I was a liar, that the food was delivered (even though I still don't have anything) and probably one of the tenants in my building stole it. Are you kidding me? So now, I am being called a liar and the other tenants in my building are thieves, because YOUR driver didn't deliver my food to the right address. Today I ordered and immediately received an email stating that my delivery was cancelled. I called Viking pizza and they first told me that they do not deliver because I am too far away. I've been to Vikings Pizza twice since I've been living in East Bridgewater. The first time I got 2 large pizzas that ran me about 20 bucks. The price wasn't horrible for how much food we got. The pizza itself was ok. Thin/soft crust. A decent amount of toppings. The second time I got 2 large calzones for 11.99 a piece. The calzones were decent sized but nowhere near worth 12 bucks a pop. My girlfriend got hers with chicken parm inside of it and I got mine with pepperoni and feta cheese. They tasted amazing but once again.. 12 bucks a piece? ouch. read more

Vikings Pizza is good, their pizza hasn't always been the best, but they have some of the most diesel fries you will ever have. The one thing to try is their curly fries, which are excellent. I could eat them all day. Another thing to get is their grilled dinners, try the grilled chicken dinner with a double side of rice pilaf... very good. read more

When I asked if they had even started making it 1.5 hours after I ordered, they admitted they hadn't and said it was really busy (Wednesday night).
