This fantastic historic home, located in quiet Walmer Street in Kew, is a hidden gem. Open to the public on the first Sunday of every month from 1-4pm, Villa Alba Museum boasts some of the most impressive original wall murals and interior decorations of the late 1800's. The garden has been reconstructed to reflect how it was when the house was in its prime and the volunteers are most helpful in providing extra information on any area of the house. Light refreshments are available for a small fee and other items such as homemade jams and relishes and even postcards are also available to purchase. Definitely worth a trip to Kew on a lazy Sunday afternoon! read more
