We spent 3 wonderful nights on our pilgrimage to our most blessed Mother. Amazing views of the town castle and tower, snow covered Pyrenees in the center and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in the right. River ran right in front of our window and you could hear it at night. Many antique furniture and separate toilet from the main bathroom with a stand up shower on one side and a tub on the other. The bath room was converted and it's new with towel warmers and other modern amenities. This room had been converted and was this houses old chapel to the Virgin Mary and had a beautiful Marian stain glass with her monogram coming out of a base of roses, truly beautiful and when the sun came in it was magical. The host was so nice and she made us delicious light breakfast every morning and was very attentive to our needs. We had Quiche on one morning, omelette on another always with coffee, juice, sweet breads, croissants and other goodies. The modern heater kept the room perfectly warm on our winter stay and the convenience of the house being so close to the main entrance to the sanctuary that made this a perfect place to visit our most Blessed Mother.
What an amazing time we had despite if the cold temperature and we are so grateful that we were able to come here. read more
