Upon first glance it just seems like a bunch of random structures and trees. But upon diving deeper and inspecting everything I found a new perspective. While looking at the vast about of detain on the stone structures and the buildings took me on a trip of tranquility. It was sophisticated, yet so beautiful and simple at the same time. This place took me back in time while observing it. I could ignore all of the problems and just relax to the old architecture design years ago. With such beauty and history, this place is certainly one to visit. 9/10 read more

The Villa Lante gardens are a wonderful example of 16th century design with modest sized fountains and an abundance of hedges. This Italian Renaissance influenced garden tells the story of the fall and then restoration of humanity. It starts at the top and goes down the story line as you descend down through the garden. My favorite feature is the fountain of the Giants. These large statues of two God's overlook the lower part of the Garden and have very intricate details and symbolism. Overall, the garden is a lush environment that is very green and is an intimate sight. It is a place to escape from the rush of the world and experience 16th century Italy. read more
