We can have true blackout for sleeping, let natural light in during the day, or open them completely. The electric operation makes everything effortless. We were so impressed that we went back and purchased our mattresses from them, and they're some of the most comfortable mattresses we've ever slept on. He asked questions on where the item will be stored (high traffic va low traffic areas of home) and when i answered he provided a plethora of fabrics to consider.
