The owners are very knowledgeable and even on their by-appointment days, if you call ahead with a specific need, they'll make sure to help you with your request. I am not allowing myself to buy too much else or I'd spend far too much time in the other side of the shop--if you're looking for one-of-a-kind items for your house or refinished/renewed furniture, though, that's something to definitely check out.

This lady is an amazing trove of historical information and that is why I love it. Julie knows what these things are, their provenance and the detailed history behind each piece. She is an expert in the field and farmhouse style antiques is what Julie eats, sleeps and breaths, 24/7. And the inventory! I honestly don't know how she constantly finds such incredible items. Every time I stop by, it seems like 1/3 of the store is stuff I hadn't seen before. Over the years I have bought a table, some stoneware and many a fist full of silverware (and she has a TON of it). She has an absolutely gorgeous cabinet that I drool over every time I am there, but I just don't have the room for it sadly. Trust me, you'll love the store, don't listen to the Karen's. It's a gorgeous shop stockpiled (literally) floor to ceiling with gorgeous lights, vases, and fireplace antiquities, but one must be incredibly careful and tread lightly through everything. Not child friendly or for someone who trips easily. I didn't realize I was holding my breath either until we left the shop, one wrong move with an arm or a purse and you could break something easily worth $15,000. And that's not an exaggeration.
