To say I'm a repeat customer is an understatement. I love antiquing. I always mark occasions with antique shopping. I have bought from this very shop everything from jewelry, to tea cups, small furniture items, hats, gloves, purses, clothes... you name it. I'm heartbroken and crushed after my experience today. It's Eid. My brother is visiting from out of state. I dragged him and my husband with me to go antiquing. I was perusing in the back when the employee practically rushed towards us asking if we saw a necklace. My husband innocently told him "no, my wife is interested in a silver bracelet that was behind a case but didn't mention anything about a necklace." The employee scoffed and then accused us of lying and stealing a $399 necklace that another customer(who had left before we even came in) was looking at and he had placed in a basket! Not a display case like all valuables, but a basket! My brother was looking at vinyl records that were located in the vicinity of said basket. We told him he can check our pockets and my purse, he refused and kept accusing us. My husband even volunteered for us to be frisked. We told him he could call the police to clear the issue. He refused, kept yelling at us, kicked us out, and said he was closing for the day. It was soooo demeaning. We felt so disrespected. I wish we called the cops ourselves, asked to be frisked, just so that he would feel as small as he made us feel and would have been forced to apologize to us. Like I get it, people consign their belongings at ur store, and you were negligent enough to have a $399 necklace in an open basket instead of putting it in a locked display case, but while you can be pissed off and disappointed in your own carelessness, your customers are not your punching bag. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this antique shop, especially considering we've been repeat customers and have done business here many times before without any issues. During our last visit, an employee accused us of stealing a necklace that had gone missing. The situation was made even more frustrating by the fact that the necklace--allegedly worth $399--had been left out in an open basket, rather than secured in a display case like items of that value usually are. What made this even more upsetting was how far we went to cooperate. We offered to have our belongings checked, even offered to be frisked, and told the employee to call the police if needed so everything could be handled properly and transparently. Despite all of this, the employee continued to accuse us without any evidence or willingness to resolve the situation professionally. Being treated like criminals after years of supporting this business was both embarrassing and frustrating. There was no attempt to de-escalate the situation or extend even basic respect to loyal customers. This experience has completely changed our perception of this shop. I would strongly caution others--especially repeat customers--that if something goes missing, you may be unfairly accused rather than treated with fairness and professionalism. read more

I'm lost for words after my visit at this shop. I'm not even from this area. I'm just visiting my sister and my brother-in-law and I only came to this poorly organized, smelly, run down shop because my sister loves antique shopping and insisted we go there together on Eid. The employee accused us of stealing a 400$ necklace placed in a open basket that had gone missing, simply because I was looking through vinyl records beside the area where he reportedly says it was placed. What made the situation even more annoying was that we fully cooperated the entire time. Even after all that, he kept accusing us without any proof and showed no interest in handling the situation professionally. I'd caution others that if something goes missing, you could end up being blamed without evidence instead of being fairly treated. Piece of advice for the owners install cameras... don't be cheap...especially since you have a sign of "under surveillance" at the entrance. lots of nazi paraphernalia and the rest was over priced. Example: there was a signed baseball for $25 and the signatures were simply blue smears, no letters to even attempt to make out. A broken Cinderella statue for $100 it was just such an uncomfortable and expensive way to waste 20 min. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Ray, who is one of the owners of this place, is an egotistical jerk. I drove over an hour with cash in hand to purchase several items that were listed and priced on their Facebook Marketplace page. However, when I get there the items that I was prepared to purchase were not even in the store (remember, all of the items were listed, with pictures and prices, on their Facebook Marketplace page). According to Ray, who needs to learn a lesson or twelve about proper customer service, the items were available for sale but they were all at some other undisclosed location. Additionally, Ray told me that I would have to pay MORE than the Facebook Marketplace prices that he or one of the other crooks at this rancid place had posted for all to see. Really?!?!? How about you adjust your prices like a professional business would to reflect the prices you expect your customers to pay before they drive 2.5 hours roundtrip to your god-forsaken poor excuse for a "business," Ray! Avoid this place at all costs! Poor customer service, misleading prices, items not at the store that are advertised that are at the store, and owners who act like petulant, greedy children. read more

The selection and prices are mediocre. The booths have a lot of choices from a China lover to baseball cards. Lots of jewelry but not nearly as big as I had hoped. read more

My sister and I go antiquing almost every weekend. It's our thing to do. We have been looking for new places as we get away from our area more. We came across this place as we were looking downriver. At first this place seems like it would be a good find and the old lady seemed to be nice that was at the front counter. We knew something was off after looking in the first case of knickknacks. They were all Nazi artifacts and other stuff like it. Than we came across some black face stuff and we knew this place wasn't going to be a place we wanted to shop. Plus the prices on most things were high. We knew as we were leaving that this place wasn't for us when we heard the old lady talking to a customer on how she remembers how Dearborn was all white before the others came in and took over. I would never spend a dime in a place like this. read more

This is a really neat spot to meander on a lazy day. There's no shortage of cool things to look at, from paintings to knick knacks to jewelry and vintage clothing. The prices are a bit high and we didn't see anything we wanted, so I'm not sure if you're allowed to haggle, but it's always worth a try. The people working were friendly and knowledgeable about the stuff they were selling. Jacob and I had a really good time looking at all the fun/weird/unique items in the store. They had not one or two accordions... but FOUR! There are plenty of rooms to rummage through as well as a garage outside. If you're bored and in the area, it makes for a fun visit. I just love this place. It has the old smell associated with antiques, staff is friendly, and the prices and pieces in here are generally good. There are some really strange things... which is exactly why you go into an antique store! It's a little hard to find, but just follow the signs and you'll find yourself in a small parking lot. I bought a dresser here for maybe $50, and I totally love it! I was in there looking for a TV stand, but didn't find anything suitable. If you like shopping for antiques, definitely stop in! read more

There is a large collection of Nazi items that was alarming at best. I reached out to the shop and did not hear back from them as to why. Even if I had found something I loved, I could not have supported a store that carried so many items filled with blatant hate. It's clear from reviews on other sites that some locals like this store because of this, which further steers me away from returning or spending my money here. read more

Sweet little place smaller than I remembered, but some really great prices. ( you need to know your stuff though. ) parking in behind the shop. The staff are friendly and know the stock which is unusual in some of the giant malls. read more

Really just thought it was OK. I love going to local antique stores every time I travel. This was was pretty small and didn't have a huge variety. I never find any store is a waste of time, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back. The people there were super friendly though! read more

I'm actually a little perplexed by the reviews others have left, as this was the most underwhelming antique store I've been in, save for the Barn Antiques in Northville, which shouldn't even be called an antique shop. While the ambience is very welcoming and you get the sights and smells of a glorious antiques facility, the prices were way too high. The "sale prices" were few and far between, but the initial prices made me just want to leave (they do have layaway, which makes me wonder if that helps them hike their prices). Please, save your time and money. Go to Plaza Antiques in Lincoln Park or the Town Peddler in Livonia. You will not be disappointed at either of those stores/malls. read more

I love this little shop. It's easy to spend time wandering through, every drawer, nook, & cranny has something interesting to see. Often the booths will have great sales, and the prices are already good to begin with. The staff is very helpful, and they carry everything from vintage buttons to antique furniture & stained glass windows. The offer layaway as well. read more

This place is one of my favorite antique stores in the metro Detroit. There's a lot of unique things inside, reasonably priced, and my favorite feature is you can put things you want on layaway. Definitely worth your time to check out. read more
