Firstly, to address the elephant in the room, I have no idea why some folks review bombed this place. It's a vintage thrift store. Of course items will be marked up relative to what you think they're worth - they have to make money somehow? Also, to be expected to be greeted at the door like some royalty, quite the privileged shopper you are! Anyways, about the shop - it is like a treasure cove of everything you can think of. From antiques to sports to toys to things you can't even think of, they have it all. My wife and I come from the medical field and we were blown away by some of the antique medical equipment and novelties they had. Meanwhile I always collect baseball and trading cards and was pleasantly surprised to hear about their weekly inventory of new sports cards. We were in the store for nearly 2 hours, and wish we could have stayed for the entire afternoon. When we return to Boise one day, we will be stopping by again. We were grateful for the wonderful staff and friendly women at the front register. This is a 5/5 business if I've ever seen one. Ignore the previous reviews, this is a MUST-See shop. read more

This antique store is very similar to the antique stores in my area. Same concept of one big venue with multiple vendors. I actually had lunch at a restaurant in the same building a few weeks back. I didn't have time to check it out but I was in Nampa today so I made my way in. Walked into the store and wasn't greeted. I guess talking about not having enough money to pay for your taxes was more important than greeting or acknowledging me. But every other person that came in after me was greeted. I found it to be amusing and annoying at the same time. I did read in a previous review that they were racist here. I don't care if you don't like me cause of my race, just be kind cause I'm a customer in your store. I made my way through the store checking out all the different vendors. As much as I wanted to buy so many stunning pieces, the price point that these folks have given these collectables is out of this world. I can't believe some of the prices on teacups, dolls, vases and pictures. I can see why these rooms are crammed with stuff, no one is buying them. Even with a 20% off sign, it's still not tempting enough to buy anything. I did check out the clearance stuff and it was still ridiculously priced. I don't know why it's called a clearance section when it was all still expensive. I did find a very pretty teapot that wasn't overly priced. I wanted to snag a couple other things but I just couldn't persuade myself enough to spend that kind of money on a teacup or a pink depression glass wine glass. So, I bought my teapot and was content with my purchase. This store and the vendors are really neat. But, the prices here are just obscene and out of this world. It's smaller than I expected, but very busy on a Saturday. Selection was good but crowded and hard to get around people. Service was not very good, no greeting, but again busy, so understandable. Prices were good for vintage items. read more

Pretty cool spot located in downtown Nampa...not really my thing to go to these places but my wife loves to browse around and look for treasures. I usually just go find a place to sit down and maybe take a nap while she looks around. From the front this place looks smaller than it is because once inside you realize how massive this place is. They have upstairs and downstairs plus other vendors off to the sides it's really pretty impressive how much selection they have. Staff was super nice and kept greeting us along the journey. As far as value it's like any antique shop and while we didn't make any purchases yesterday I am sure all things are negotiable. read more

Lots of neat stuff. Extremely overpriced!! Much better shops in the back... if you walk to the next door and hit up the merchant circle. Owner lady and her husband were SO rude. They were yelling at an elderly lady when I was there. And then yelled at me for not wearing a mask. I do have a medical exemption and this lady was SCREAMING and shaking at me. Told me I was a liar, there's no such thing as medical exemption, etc. would never ever go back. Sad too bc I know so many small business are hurting. Is it too much to ask for kindness. Also if shopping for antiques besides the merchants in the back. Go to Miss Bee Haven. Great finds and better pricing. read more

Wow, I get the sneaky feeling someone is out to sabotage this place. The negative reviews are extreme. I have been shopping here for years and have serious doubts about the owners ever SCREAMING at anyone or calling them liars. They just aren't that type of people. Lucretia is the best! She is one of the dealers who has merchandise here and she always dresses in vintage clothing. She is almost always there and extremely friendly and helpful! The owners are always very helpful and do their best to answer any questions or concerns I have about anything. They have even gone out of their way to call a seller about an item I am asking about. This mall is my first go-to to kill some time looking for vintage treasures. They have a huge space and lot of variety and if you don't like the prices, just don't buy it! CAUTION: RACIST OWNER/STAFF!! Cute store with a LOT of unique finds but grossly overpriced. Unfriendly and snobbish staff. Had an awful experience with their customer service. Particularly one older woman who caused a scene when I decided to carry around the items I was going to purchase; two photographs with a grande value of $3, and I was promptly told to stop and return my items to the front desk. There were other people in the store with items in their hands, but I was the only person of color and I was asked to put my items back. I promptly left the store and WILL NOT BE BACK. I've talked to several of my friends that have also visited the store, and every person of color has had a similar/negative experience. read more

Horrible Customer Service. Staff member snapped at me when I, unknowingly, was trying to shop in a portion of the Mall that was closed on Monday's. I asked her if the whole section was closed and she snapped again and said "It's Monday!!". As though I was an idiot for not knowing the in's and out's of this business. I chose to leave because she was so rude, and handed the items I was going to purchase back to her. When I was leaving she told me to go take a nap. I emailed the owner to let them know about the poor Customer Service. Owner Jim, emailed me back and proceeded to say it was not poor Customer Service but Theft Prevention. He excused me of trying to steal AND said I should not have escalated an argument with his staff. I'm serious. BEWARE of the disgusting attitude of the staff and owners. UPDATE: Jim emailed me again explaining how inappropriate it was for me to have the nerve to shop in a section of the store I was not suppose to be in without first paying for items I planned to purchase. These people are unbelievable. I kindly emailed him back and told him what I thought he could do with himself. read more

They have two stories full of antiques, however I will not go back because of the attitude of one of the workers. I saw a pair of cocker spaniels in the display case for $25. It was listed as Hagen Renaker, which was a brand that my Mother in Law loves to collect. I asked to see them and checked the bottom to see if there was any indication of the brand. There wasn't, so I asked if there's a way to verify since I wasn't knowledgable about it and I couldn't find any pictures online of that cocker spaniel from Hagen Renaker. The lady assisting me told me the lady who it belonged to knows all about it and she was working in the store today, so I could talk to her. I go up to the lady, not sure if it's the right one because she says absolutely nothing for the first couple of seconds then she asks if the problem was that I thought it was fake. Not knowing anything about the brand or this business, of course I'm hesitant to spend $25 on a present for my Mother in Law who collects them, not knowing how to at least tell the difference when there are no clear markings. However, not once did the words real or fake come out of my mouth when I told her it's a gift for someone who collects them. The lady did reluctantly take a little time to explain what to look for, but what really got me was when my husband asked if they happened to have any horses. The lady responds in the most condescending way that they don't get these things shipped in like a wholesale and even scoffed at us. At that point I told them that we didn't want the cocker spaniels anymore and we left. Not all the staff is rude or at least not that I experienced, but to act like that when your customers have questions about the items you sell is extremely unprofessional. Had I known it belonged to someone who worked there, I might not have questioned its origins but the bottomline is that they lost a sale solely on customer service. read more

Wonderful place the lady always asks to hold my stuff Sometimes I get them sometimes I don't but I'm not here to steal so I don't know why it's a big deal for that anyway unfortunately we live in a world where a lot of people do steal the smallest of things and I think it's a smart idea to do that and if you have a problem with it then go shop somewhere else and as for racism I'm Hispanic never once I felt treated differently for my race. will comeback again! read more

Do I have to even leave a star, ugh? Such snooty owners! This place will not ever have my business or recommendation. There are much better antique stores with much more friendlier owners. My advice, If you don't like people/customers you shouldn't have a business that deals with the public. Should have seen the look I got when I asked for the restroom key, when I told her I was just browsing or when I removed my mask to talk to my son. I was literally walked up to to ask to replace on, (I felt hunted down) So Ridiculous. Masks have a 35% protection rate and 0% protection from a virus, you'd need an N95. Anyways, this place sucks! read more

One of my absolute favorite places to shop. You could spend hours here-the store is very large for an antique shop. I will say the prices are on the higher end but If you love antiques it is usually worth it. They also wrap your purchases up nicely. read more

Drove through town and ended up here. Everything was wonderful and I ended up getting some nice rusted metal work for my garden. Not too overpriced, though not dirt cheap either. my sister and i, along with my service dog, decided to visit this store to look for a few things to decorate my sister's place and we were stopped by a not-so-nice lady stating that we had to leave as they do not allow dogs in their business. My service dog had her vest on and she was working and not doing anything she wasn't supposed to do. We explained she was a service dog and the lady demanded to see documentation and we explained that federal law does not require documentation and she became very confrontational, insisting we had to leave. We tried to explain the law to her but she did not want to hear it. I explained if she wanted to call the police and speak with them, she is more than welcome to do so. She then stated she has the right to refuse service to anyone they want and I agreed but told her at this point if you would be refusing service due to a disability and that would get her into trouble. Again I tried to explain the federal law to her and she did not want to hear any of it. Her only concern was getting the dog out of her business because they had problems with dogs fighting in the past. She finally said "whatever" and walked away. I will NOT recommend this business to anyone until the employees are trained regarding disabilities and service dogs. read more

This is a two story antique store with some owned items but for the most part they have booths where the booth owners put the stuff they wish to sell and they determine the prices. In some booths, if you ask for a discount, the staff can automatically give you a discount. Sometimes they will even touch base with the booth owner to see if they will lower their prices. I frequently shop at Village Antiques. I have found several bargains there and some really nice pieces of antique furniture. I have always been treated respectfully and I always ask if they will let me set things I want to purchase at the front counter so I don't have to carry it around the store. They are more than willing to let me do that and even if I change my mind, they will just go and put it back for me. They tell me about items in the store and show me where they are since they know my taste and what I am usually looking for or they will mention other stores in the area that have something they think that I might like. Absolutely wonderful staff and a nice place to visit even if you are just "window shopping". I highly recommend them - far nicer shopping experience here than some other antique stores/malls that I have visited. read more
