The neighborhood is safe, clean, and drama free. The management office team is always pleasant, professional on every level, and is always willing to listen to your concerns, suggestions, and even your personal affairs. I especially love the way they make you feel like family, going into the office is like walking into your own living room, it's very clean, serene, and inviting to the point you don't want to leave; I have been late for work because I go in there and chat with the ladies and lose track of time. If you have sweet tooth, you can always find treats in the management office, they are always showing residents appreciation. Come and check us out!

I'm not sure if any of these problems have been remedied since I left, but I fondly remember my time at the Lake Club and do still believe it is one of the nicest apartment complexes in Dover.

Now let's talk about the dog waste that is left behind from all there residents, discussing and I'm a dog owner but I'm one of the many few that have the decency to clean after my animal . I can't even allow my dogs to walk on the grass without getting dog waste all over there legs and my shoes. I can't be the only one in this development to care about the waste left behind unless u aren't a dog owner and haven't notice the mountains of dog waste everywhere . I can only imagine how some of these individuals live. The most annoying part is that when you enter country village the grass is neat no dog waste , but as you get towards the back of the complex where I stay , lord is my witness there is clumps of dog waste around the apartments, even the side walk has dog waste on it. I will definitely not stay here next year if things don't change . I for one hate to see and smell dog shit everywhere , you can't even open ur windows in the first floor because the smell comes right into your apartment. So definitely 2 star. There are no amenities provided for tenants--no pool, no gym, no play area for children, and no open clubhouse. The only feature offered is a small dog park. After moving out, management sent me a bill attempting to use up my security deposit with unreasonable charges. They billed me for every set of blinds in my apartment and for the carpet, even though both were in normal condition after two years of regular use. I lived there with my two children, and the blinds should clearly fall under standard wear and tear--if I were still a tenant, they would have replaced them for free. As for the carpet, I had no pets, no spills, and no stains. I even vacuumed thoroughly before leaving. There was no valid reason to charge me for carpet replacement. To make matters worse, management refused to do a walkthrough with me when I moved out. They said walkthroughs are done by management alone. The property manager, Keri, handled it very poorly. I made sure to record a video of the apartment before leaving to show its condition, as there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now, I'm having to take them to court to recover my security deposit. I would not recommend renting at Country Village Apartments due to unreasonable fees, lack of amenities, and poor management practices.

I feel like they are doing this so they can avoid violating tenant laws and show they are "working" on the request when they are truly just giving my the slum lord run around ! I also have not had a working washing machine in over 3 weeks. I Have also reported this to office management . With it being 83 degrees in my house and my washing machine not working and the water being left in the drum of the washing machine for 3 weeks my apartment smells like what I can only describe as Shreks Swamp !!! As I sit her at 3:00 am trying to cool my 6 year old son down in a bath so he can hopefully cool down enough to sleep to be able to go to his first week of school , I ask myself what kind of management company would think this is adequate living conditions for a child ! I've been with out a dryer since 11/24/22. It's been over a month and my Dryer is still broken. I pay $2000 a month for rent and for that amount of money this should not be happening. I asked for some type of compensation for this inconvenience, but that was dismissed. I have to spend money transporting and using public dryers at public Laundry facilities to dry my clothes.
