Shortly after we arrived, a lady and dog on a scooter came to the door. Then the man behind the counter yelled over to my partner, can someone get the door for her? They have to buzz each shopper in and so they apparently believed that the three Black folks (us) had come to work as doormen versus shoppers. Not only did the staff not say a simple thank you to my man, but neither did the customer on the scooter. As I recall the room, there was a free staff member who could have grabbed the door for his customer. Apparently, our money was not welcome as not a single soul offered me or my niece the price of the items we were looking at. No thank you.
