The parents and entire community are extremely involved and our award-winning (literally) PTA is spectacular, the most active and organized PTA I've ever seen, wow! PES also has a dad's club that is awesome. It is incredible to see so many fathers, along with the warrior mothers, involved all the time. Palmetto Elementary is one of the highest rated in testing, scoring at the top in most areas and grade levels. Of course, it is a "10 out of 10" and "A+" school and part of the Cambridge International program. PES combines exceptional education with endless supplemental programs, activities, clubs as well as exposure to the arts at every grade level (rarely seen at public schools). PES is focused on giving their students the most wholesome and diverse experience possible by fulfilling a child's need in every area. The magic of the school starts with our Principal, Mr. Torres! You will find him greeting children and parents, opening car doors and providing a smile and welcoming wave every morning! He is involved in every aspect of the school, including assisting parents in the office or directing traffic, if needed. He doesn't skip a beat, runs the school in the most efficient way possible. The only people that actually tried helping my child in all the time he has being attending this school. Not all kids are on with following a program that makes them slow mentally! We are on different times! Use technology for more than just showing movies! Stop limiting kids to learn in such basic ways that don't actually help them in their future! Hire teachers that actually know how to connect with little kids! You cannot treat small kids like adults! I am at the front desk of this school since 8:00 am waiting to speak to the principal and it is 10:07 am and she is still busy!
