Amazing Pizza, loved how its hand-tossed and made with light sauce. The wings are delicious as well. Amazing food, 5/5 would recommend.

Daniel was our server and did a very good job. I started with the Caesar Salad followed by Eggplant Parmigiano. The food was plentiful and actually too much for one sitting. The venue itself was quite busy for a Tuesday night. I would say it was a shade towards upscale with most of the clientele in business casual attire. They seemed to have a very nice wine selection as well. For dessert, we ordered the Lemon Ripieno which was served inside a carved out lemon. A bit icey, but still was tasty and refreshing.

I immediately loved the decor/the ambiance of the place. Very roomy, with a nice, relaxing lounge. There were eleven of us in our party. Though we did not have reservations, we were informed that we could be seated, but not until all of us arrived - which we did within 5 minutes of each other (were driving four different vehicles). When everyone was in place and we asked to be seated, we were then informed that there may be a problem seating all of us?!? Of course, we were a bit perplexed due to what we were told less than ten minutes earlier. We thought we would have to call the manager over, but another hostess asked us to give her a few minutes and she'd get us set up. Yay! Other then this little "fiasco," we had a great time. Our server was on point, and our food orders came in a timely manner. The complimentary bread and the dipping sauce was delish! A couple of us ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer, and there was also an order of stuffed mushrooms (which weren't a big hit). I ordered a side Caesar salad, along with the eggplant parmigiano which was delicious but not as "tender" as I would have expected. I basically had to use a steak knife to cut it, but other than that, it was tasty. :o) Others in our party ordered salmon, chicken parmigiana, lasagna, manicotti, and pepperoni pizza. Overall, we had an enjoyable dining experience; it was just really nice for us all to get together and share a meal in a nice restaurant. I will definitely plan to visit again when back in the area. Hopefully there won't be a problem with the seating.

I started off with a rusty nail from the bar and it was perfect! We had the burrata appetizer, and it was spot on. My Dad got lobster ravioli and a side of homemade Italian meatballs. I had the seasonal Tuscan chicken. Then for dessert we shared a berry compote cheesecake. Everything was fresh, the food temperature was outstanding, and the flavors of all dishes were excellent. What a great hidden gem in this small South Georgia town!!

But when you charge $43 for a steak, it's a crime to overcook it. Despite requesting medium, I received a well done steak with NO pink whatsoever. Which resulted in a dry and flavorless hunk of meat. It was served with a side of roasted potatoes, but they had the texture of boiled instead. And they were so bland, I didn't finish them. My wife had the special, the Involtini, and found the chicken tough and stringy and didn't finish her entree. She did really love the brussel sprouts side dish which was the most flavorful version of this item she'd ever tried. Also when they first served some complimentary bread there were only four tiny slices that were overshadowed by the butter pats. Luckily they brought more, so it was more of a first-impression miss. Speaking of first-impressions this restaurant shares the building with apartments, so you'll be challenged to find a parking spot, even on a weeknight. Once you enter, the interior is very inviting and stylish. The metal seats, however were very uncomfortable, so be sure to get a table with the wooden and cushioned chairs. Due to the modern interior the many hard surfaces create an echo chamber and the noise makes conversation challenging.

This…read morerestaurant had been under construction the last time we visited, but it was a viable option this time. I made a reservation a month or so in advance (though it may be possible to get a table closer to your target date than that). We arrived just before our 5:45 p.m. reservation. It was bitterly cold that day, so I dropped my wife off and searched for parking. My advice: there seemed to be more spaces available on 1st Avenue north of the restaurant. I circled around some other streets first and found nothing. The restaurant itself is a somewhat narrow but deep space in its building. When you enter, the first room has the bar on the left and tables on the right. There is a secondary smaller room towards the back which was where our table was. Our waiter showed up and got our drink orders. There was an extensive list of specials and drinks, which was fine. I don't think we opted for them, but it was nice that they had a changing variety of dishes. As this was our first time here, everything was a novelty. I had some wine; the pours were average. I think the entrees came with salads, which were good. For the main dish, I had to decide between lasagna, spaghetti, and a mushroom ravioli + steak option. I went with the latter, and was pleased. The steak was just 4 oz, but that's fine given the overall dish. It was cooked well and tasty. The ravioli were good as well. I did not manage to finish them, but enjoyed them for lunch the next day. My wife opted for a fish dish which she also liked. We did not want to overdo dinner with dessert as we had a performance to attend. Otherwise, I'd have checked that out. The last thing I'll comment on is the music selection. They were featuring "Spanish guitar" covers of pop songs, but the mix was pretty eclectic - it included Beatles, CCR, the Theme from Forrest Gump, etc. I enjoyed it quite a bit, to the point that I emailed them to ask about it. It definitely wasn't just a generic background music stream! We are planning to attend another performance in Columbus later in the Spring, and I have already made a reservation to return to Mabella's.

When I arrived to pick up the dinner, they were closed and I waited for 30 minutes. While waiting, I left numerous messages at Rocco's Italian Restaurant since the food truck is obviously owned by the restaurant. No one answered or returned any of my calls. Later in the week i did speak with Stephanie who said yes, the food truck didn't open that day as they had an event and it was their online vendor Door Dash, who took payment and we should deal with Door Dash. i just spoke with the truck operator on the phone and he talked to the owner and confirmed we would have to deal with Door Dash. Door dash is the vendor they use for online ordering and the customer should not be responsible to resolve. Really? Wouldn't it have been the correct customer service thing to do and give your loyal customer the food they ordered (and always enjoyed) Instead of telling them to try and get their money back from Door Dash? Try to retain customers instead of refusing to make things right? It just doesn't make sense to me.
