My first impression before we even met was how organized and detail oriented Susanna was - after reaching out to view a couple of her listings before we even met for the first time we were corresponding over email for the types of things that were important for me in an apartment so that she could find other listings to view as well (a great kitchen for me, and lots of sunny spots for bird watching for my beloved cat). The second impression when we met was immediate integrity: real estate in NYC doesn't have the greatest reputation for honesty... from exaggerated details in listings, to bait-and-switch photographs that doesn't represent the property (or are of a completely different property) I was relieved to see that Susanna's listings accurately represent what they look like in real life. And unlike some agents or brokers that I've interacted with who just want to make a quick deal, I always felt that Susanna was patient and wanted to make sure that I found the place that was right for me. It's not an exaggeration to say that I was a very nervous client - not only with crazy market volatility in interest rates, but as a first time buyer just seeing the prices on listings sent me into a mild panic. As well as helping me find great listings to consider, Susanna also gave me some more general advice around how to think about an offer (e.g. size of down payment) and convinced me to meet with a financial advisor to make sure that I was making a financially healthy suggestion. For 5 months they kept saying tenant was moving out, after doing some research and investigation we find out tenant was never moving out. They actually signed a new lease ending in July 2026!
