Sure, there's not the huge selection of movies that AMC theatres have, but they are so good at getting new highly anticipated flicks. Plus, they have the After Hours Film Society that brings in a wider variety of films for the most dedicated viewers. Lastly, you absolutely cannot beat the prices of tickets and snacks. There are two screens that rotate movies. The seats don't recline with a foot rest, but they are so much better since the remodel. Much more spacious and comfortable. The main theatre also has a stage which expands opportunity at this venue for live performances. Such a great locally owned well-run business.

The first one they gave me was broken so it was impossible to lock into the cup holder. The second one constantly sunk throughout the movie and had to be adjusted every couple of minutes. I got annoyed and ending up just holding it in front of me the whole time which was uncomfortable. I would come back to this theater but I hope they upgrade their captioning technology. The center table thing was all ripped up - and it was just gross. No one ever came by to see if we wanted anything - and granted we never hit the service button, but ummmm popcorn is included in the tickets..... We've been going to this location for years. It just keeps going downhill. Will be looking elsewhere from now on. Literally ran home to take a shower after this experience.

We were the only people in the theater, yet the experience was surprisingly poor. Our orders were incorrect, and it took over an hour and a half for my meal to arrive. When it finally did, there was paper stuck between the cheese, which was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, after paying, I stopped to grab M&Ms and was told I couldn't purchase candy because everything had to be ordered through table service. That level of rigidity, especially with no other customers around, made no sense. This place has clearly changed and not for the better. Management needs to take a serious look at operations here, because experiences like this will drive customers away. I would not recommend this theater.

I loved how the theater rows are so slanted downward that your view is never obstructed by the people's heads in the rows in front of you. The reclining seats are a little worn but did not present any problems. Another great thing is that there is alot of leg room. One free refill on popcorn. Ticket and snack prices are reasonable. The movie trailers before the actual movie starts are long. Our 4:45pm show did not actually start until 5:10pm, so don't worry if you are running late. You will probably make it on time before the actual movie starts. Very good movie going experience.

Such a unique experience that I was thrilled to enjoy again. My earlier review below from 4/30/11 still holds -- wouldn't change a word. This drive-in is a MUST DO. Food at the snack bar is fresh cooked and great. The counter staff moves you through quickly so you have your food in hand in plenty of time to enjoy it in your car before the show starts. $8 is the best price anywhere for 2 first run double features. Sound through the radio is perfect every time. Grass is lush and better than mine at home in the yard! As good as the movie experience is, the management and the way the drive-in is run is just as good. The place is clean and well kept. This is a great value for dates AND families and I hope it stays in business until I'm too old to drive.

There are currently 16 locations throughout the suburbs. This specific location has been my go-to movie theater since I was a kid. I even had my 9th birthday party here. I love how not much has really changed over the years, and any changes that have been made have been for the better (except for price increases, but even then, their prices are still pretty cheap when compared to other movie theaters). My favorite improvement is obviously their comfier reclining seats. The seats even have a heating and cooling mechanism. I also love that they still offer free refills. Plus the interior hasn't really changed at all since I was a kid. It's the perfect 90s/00s movie theater vibe. I love getting the "kiddie combo" because it's the perfect amount of popcorn and drink for me lol. You can also upgrade to an icee for 50¢ more.
