They visited my home following surgery to assess any needs at home and reassure me in addition to planning for my post-surgery therapy. Jeremy and his team are extremely knowledgeable about therapeutic techniques and exercise to rehab an injury or recover post-surgery. When I felt discouraged or experienced a set-back, they were encouraging and adjusted my therapy to help me work through it. The office manager, Mary, is so helpful and patient. She has been in excruciating pain for 90% of the time and they could care less. The only time the doctor shows up is once a week on Sunday and does not communicate with us. In order to get stronger medication than Tylenol, it takes a doctors order and we've been waiting for 8 hours and still nothing. The other issue is the food. It ranges from "okay" to "unacceptable". For instance, last night we ordered (24 hours in advance), chicken strips, mashed potatoes & gravy, fruit cup. They were out of chicken strips, out of gravy, out of fruit, so they brought her mashed potatoes period!!!! We did ask for something else and they brought soup but WTF!!! I even told them she was in so much pain she wanted to die and all I heard was silence on the other end of the phone. Also, you can not control the temperature room to room, it's building wide and my mom has been freezing the entire time! Do not come here!!! We are working on alternative plans!

The aquatherapy with Ian at PAM is excellent!…read more This was my 2nd experience with physical therapy, but Ian's inventiveness led me to learn many different movements I can do in the water to strengthen my core (which he showed me how to find next to my navel) muscles in a fun way. My first workout was mild, but Ian built the intensity slowly over several sessions, so that the last 2 sessions I had left me feeling the endorphins for about 24 hours after the workouts, which is so close to being completely pain free so that even my husband noticed how much happier I was after the aquatherapy. Do NOT let fear of the water intimidate you from taking advantage of this wonderful resource! In the same way race horses are toned in water tanks for racing, you can rebuild your strength with aquatherapy! And, lastly, the folks at the front desks are always friendly and happy to see you, even though this facility is quite busy with patients who stay and patients that come daily. I am so glad I was willing to drive the 50 minutes it takes me to get there for these sessions every week.

Doctors, Nurses, Therapists (PT,OT, RT, & ST), Dietary, Housekeeping, Social Work, and the Chaplain were all fantastic! Everyone worked together as a team to make sure his stay was good and he had everything he needed. The food was even good, which sometimes is hard to find in a hospital setting. Dad has been to other facilities within the KC Metro and his experiences haven't been good, but they go the extra mile here. Highly recommend!
