Plus it's serene and spacious, private and more upscale. It's a 15 -20 minute boat ride from the hotel to St Mark's Square they have a complimentary shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from the square and the hotel. Minuses it's away from the city center so not many choices for dinner. For me definitely more pluses than minuses. We took a private water taxi from the train station which we paid out of pocket but was worth it vs walking from the train station to the pick up area at St Mark's Square. We had free breakfast buffet each morning and and there were so many choices, both hot and cold. They even had an omelette station. Everyone was very friendly and the restaurant was beautiful. Our check-in process was smooth and easy. Stefano was great. The room was super spacious with a huge closet, huge bathroom and a great view. The grounds were beautiful and we took walks every morning. They have a rooftop pool, which is heated although we did not use it. There was a great view and restaurant from up there.

Walkable distance to everything we needed to do with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Hotel staff (at Palazzo Paruta) was so friendly and we really appreciated their help in booking a private transfer to the airport for us for the morning of our departure (FYI - €180 for an early 4:30AM pickup at the St. Angelo port, 5 min walk from the apartment). We stayed in room 704 and having the balcony was wonderful - we spent so much time out there drinking wine, people watching, and relaxing in the evenings after a long day out. Bed was comfortable (duvet covers vs. sheets!), two TVs - one in living room area and one in bedroom, clean and very luxurious shower with both a rainfall shower and a regular detachable shower head, and a soaking tub that we didn't use but seemed to be very clean and well-maintained. As a note, due to the "wellness apartments" not operating like a hotel and per Italian regulations, there is no cleaning service or breakfast offered; however, we were surprised to come back one day to see our towels had been folded. After reaching out to their front desk, they confirmed it was indeed in their cleaning service who will only come in to fold and/or replenish towels. We were asked to use the do not disturb sign if we did not want this service. Overall we had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely come back next time we are in Venice.

The breakfast was excellent and they would have a type of 'happy hour' in the late afternoon in the beautiful bar area. Giancarlo went above and beyond with his delicious food and his recommendations for us in the area. We stayed in the lovely hotel part of the site on the first floor and not the apartments. The room was quaint and charming but a bit musty. I would have loved to have had the windows open but there were no screens so bugs would have been an issue. We were happy to have ac but the bathroom was always humid and take care with the slippery bathroom floors. Again, minor issues that I feel could be fixed to make it all around 5 stars.

When we arrived, we were shown to the room immediately after a brief introduction to the hotel and city. We were offered any advice we needed as well as access to concierge services gratis. The staff was welcoming and friendly as well. It's very comfortable. The room decor was elegant and the bed was wonderful after a long trip. Coffee and a welcome bottle of Prosecco were also waiting for us. The view is really, truly right on the canal. It's fantastic but surprisingly quiet at night, likely due to the excellent windows We took the water taxi to the San Marco Square then walked back and it was about a 30 minute walk with beautiful shops and restaurants almost the entire way. Final note, the breakfast was a very good value with a diverse selection and excellent coffee. We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

There is also a restaurant right behind it that is delicious in case you don't want to venture too far and risk getting lost (which we did a lot of in Venice). Although the staff did try to prevent this, and gave us a map of the city as well as recommendations. I think the main selling point for me was that with three travelers, we usually needed a queen and an extra bed, and the suite that we booked came with an extra bed in it's own separate little area that had it's own television (although we didn't use it, it was nice that it was there!). Plus, there were extra pillows and covers to make sure everyone was comfortable. Overall, a really lovely stay in Venice.

Rooms were like apartments and big, but a reasonable price. Kitchen, living, and severe bed rooms. I would go back again if I'm ever in the area. For military this place is within per diem.

This is about a 30 to 60 minute ride especially if you top the driver and take the scenic view from Venice train terminal to all of the Venice hot spots. Once at the Punto pesca pier, take the bus or taxi from to the heart of Lido Jesolo. I would have never thought about visiting the beach during my trip to Venice, but this ocean front hotel can't be beat. This hotel boasts beach front views as well as partial views on both sides of the building. I high recommend the xtra $ for the beach front view with balcony. The beaches are beautiful, well appointed with tons of seating and umbrellas. The hotel has an indoor white table cloth restaurant and outdoor open air restaurant. Breakfast of available every morning with fully stocked food bar and off menu ordering options. There is also a beach front pool the is quait and also provides a level is seclusion for your party. Just like most beach front hotels, there is a strip just behind the hotel with shops, eateries and souvenir stores.
