Theologically deep teaching, rich in both knowledge and practicality. This carries through in the music too, contemporary worship but they don't just sing any and every song out there, the worship is chosen based on theological soundness, doctrinal depth, and scriptural backing. The youth ministry is thriving, our 17 year old can't wait to go each Wednesday night. Also the lay elders are able and capable preachers which is biblical. Paul tells Timothy that elders must be "able to teach" (1 Tim. 3:2). He tells Titus that elders "must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it" (Titus 1:9). Must churches choose elders solely because of their financial status in the community.

When I got to my car I started thinking that maybe I was invisible or dead (and I had only attended in spirit form). NO one, not one, made eye contact or acknowledged my existance. I have never felt more invisible in my life. That is not representing Christ very well.
