My fiancé listened to her and took off his hoodie BIG mistake he was freezing. The game we did was VR space mission. It was a good game LOTS of puzzles in it that will have your mind in a pretzel. However the hint system kinda sucks because they offer 10 hint but if they give you a hint and you don't understand the hint they won't offer another hint your stuck with that one hint rather you understand or not so the rest of your hints will just sit there as time passes. Another staff member was late or called out because the woman was "trying" to assist us but had to keep leaving room. We literally were calling for her and she was gone. The when we mentioned it at the end she tried to deny it until I said no I took my headset off you were not here and I was calling because BOTH of our headsets were blurry to the point we couldn't read things or see unless closing one ey. (Neither of us were glasses) then she said yes I stepped out for a min. Lady stop first the lie but you were caught now it was a min. The she says y'all should've told me it was blurry when I was in here. So I respond we tried when we noticed but you left. Her respond oo sorry . We are out of towners so probably won't be back anyway but for others if you see her just ask for someone else or try again another day. Also I believe she's the owner which is even more sad.

Enigma has very different feel than the first escape room company I went to. Unlike a lot of escape rooms (Breakout Games, Escape, etc.) this one is not a franchise. The rooms are entirely original from traditional escape games (no kidnapping or other overused themes). The room we did was called "Grandma's secret recipe" I believe and the goal was to search "grandma's" house and find her recipe before the bank comes to take it. The puzzles were challenging, even if they could use some tweaking. The staff was incredibly open to feedback and I think it's just developing currently. I imagine creating original rooms is more difficult than the kits many places use! I definitely recommend going in a group, because you never know who you'll be paired with otherwise. Overall I recommend Enigma and I'm excited to try out their "Haunted Dorm" this fall!

And we're glad we did, because it was a great way to spend the afternoon. You basically get locked inside of a room filled with tons of clues. You're presented with a puzzle and then have only 1 hour to solve it. Who knew it would be such a rush! We went with some puzzle-room pros, and they were pleased by the level of difficulty at Enigma. $25 seemed somewhat steep for only 1 hour, but it's actually on the cheaper end compared to places in Indy and Boston. The staff were SUPER friendly and enthusiastic about escape rooms. ....I could see how it may be less fun if you're a group of 2 stuck with some strangers, but definitely grab a group of friends (or Team Building Event 2017) and go. You'll be reliving your Saw-victory for quite a while.

Then you can take a sweet nostalgic walk down memory lane with over 20 arcade games. The best part?! No need for quarters because you keep playing until you are tired or your hour is up! My girlfriend, her son, and me played Avengers. We beat the game but had like 60 credits. There are so many favorites like Galaga, Mortal Kombat, Pac-man, Contra, Marvel vs. CAPCOM, and many more! Our Gamemaster introduced herself as another agent and then we were in! We were able to tackle the puzzles in parallel and there were many tricks and puzzles to solve with clues everywhere!
