This is a place of regular customers and all are known by name. Servicing is efficient and you can often be fitted in as required. Pricing is reasonable - less than a main dealer but not the cheapest. The upside is good service and knowing that you're not being done. No MOTs (these are outsourced if required as part of a service). Parrington's are good at sourcing cars and will give you an honest recommendation. They will buy cars from individuals too and give a good appraisal. Premium makes are a speciality but all needs can be catered for.

The car had to stay in overnight, because the part was not in stock, but I wasn't offered a courtesy car. To me, £400 for a service with over an hour to fit the new starter motor seems steep... I can remember swapping the starter on a Triumph Herald in 10 minutes, has the technology really got that much harder? Then, instead of dropping the car back to me, they left the keys at Reception and left it to them to ring me. Which is probably a good thing, since the list of 'advisories' was baffling with no indication of costs if I were to get them fixed. So, afar from the image I had, Audi are now beginning to look unreliable and expensive to repair. Still a lovely car to drive though.

I chose Kinghams of Croydon because they use Range Rover diagnostics without the dealership price tag. I have nothing but praise for the team who have worked on my car. I was quoted a reasonable price for the repair and importantly received regular progress reports while my vehicle was with them. They even offered a replacement vehicle (terms & conditions apply) so I will definitely be recommending Kinghams to my friends and neighbours. Paid deposit then only to receive a call off them yesterday stating they would not do the alloy wheel scuff repair as it would come out of their profits. So they refunded my deposit which was bad business practice and as a loyal Motorline customer for years I would not be buying off them ever again! Poor customer service.
