    Tarta de queso

Loved the tapas here! Food quality was great and the atmosphere is awesome. Our waiter was very quick was always looking our way to see if we needed anything else. The croquetas and the tarta de queso were the highlight of my tapas. Tiny beers are super cold and delish!

We find this little gem through a Google search and it sure did not disappoint! It is a beautiful modern restaurant, with open space and plenty of seating. Staff was nice and some on another day not so much, but the food and drinks made up for that! We ordered a variety of tapas so that we could all get a taste. From what I recall, we had patatas bravas, chicken flauta, gambas al ajillo, octopus, montadito of steak eith foie gras and we even got to taste the roscon as dessert! We got lucky since it is pretty poplar during the holiday season. It sure delivered a great tapas and drink experience!

This was our favorite tapas place in Madrid! Highly highly recommend! The ambience is nice here and the food is amazing. I absolutely love tapas because it allows you to try a lot of dishes for an affordable price. We particularly loved the variety of fried seafood (which has fish, calamari and peppers). The peppers are especially delicious and well flavored. We ended up ordering this dish twice, so if you love seafood, I'd definitely recommend ordering this.

We ate at Vinitus Gran Via Madrid three nights in Madrid, it was that good! Great tapas selection for those that love beef, chicken, seafood and a sizeable vegetarian tapas selection. Good selection of wine, beer and sangria. Rabo de Toro with Parmentier potatoes, and the beef cheeks stew was my favorite. Patatas Bravas was excellent. My wife liked the Beef Tenderloin tapa with Padron Peppers and the Eggplant tapas dish. Dinner with drinks was very reasonable price-wise and was excellent quality. Met all kinds of taste and dietary preferences, highly recommend! ¡Muy bueno!

If you are vegan, coming here will only piss you off. In fact, a vegan in Madrid in general is ill-advised. The setting feels historic and rustic with exposed brick and stone that appears to be centuries old. They seem to make everything (both food and drink) behind that cramped bar which explains why most of their menu items are cold, pre-made, or easy to assemble from short lists of raw ingredients. This does not mean that anything is bad. It just means it is like producing charcuterie in a dorm room bar. A large number of items involve Iberico Ham and one of the barmen is constantly shaving off thin pieces for service. In fact the freebie snack they send out from the kitchen had some Iberico ham and Manchego cheese on it which was a really nice warm up of what to expect. Over the noonish lunch hour, I was the only tourist in the place surrounded by many locals that clearly know about this spot. I liked those odds for assuring me of a genuine authentic experience. It was an accurate predictor. I'm not the most experienced when it comes to true Spanish tapas but this seemed to be a very genuine depiction of what the locals look for in a rustic Iberico ham experience. And frankly, even if it wasn't I can't find anything to really complain about. It was a cool historic setting, there was ice-cold vermouth from a tap, and I spent an hour shoving local Morcilla (blood sausage) and Iberico pig parts into my pie hole for the better part of an hour. It was a great experience any way you choose to look at it.

Facilities: The facilities of the casino are upscale and nice - lots of glitz and glamour. The first floor is primarily slots with a few tables and a bare-bones cocktail bar. The second floor has a collection of tables - mainly blackjack, roulette, and poker. The third floor has two upscale restaurants and a high-roller section of tables which is much nicer than the rest of the casino. There is also an upscale cocktail lounge where you can relax with a drink away from all of the gaming. Overall it is nice - we enjoyed passing the time here and having dinner in one of the restaurants. There is a hotel attached which we did not stay in but the lobby looked nice. Service: Upon walking in you are asked to provide a form of ID to check in. If it is your first time they will take down some basic information and photograph you. I had no problem using my Pennsylvania driver's license to get in. Having come a few times over the course of my vacation, I did not always find the staff to be as welcoming as I'd like - however I realize that there are cultural differences. The exchange rates at the cashier and the ATM were fair. Other Notes: A few of the games have slightly different rules than their American versions in Las Vegas and Atlantic City - make sure to keep an eye out. Roulette and Blackjack come to mind - however Roulette actually has less of a house edge in Europe! Absolutely no outside food is allowed and they will not hold it at the coat check for you.

I showed up one early evening and they said there were 11 people on the waitlist and it would take hours to get through, so I left. They told me they opened the poker at 2 PM so I should show up 10 to 15 minutes before that to try to get a seat. So I did and they apparently draw names for who they're going to seat first and then everyone else is on the waiting list. As a tourist, I ended up on the waitlist, but not sure if that was a coincidence or not.
