I do consistently come back to Charming Nail in Cranston but lately their service has been falling…read moreshort. I typically request an appointment online and despite doing so unless it is early in the morning the appointment always runs much longer than necessary due to how busy they are. I'm not sure if it is due to overbooking or just allowing too many walk-ins, but I have definitely had to wait over 20 minutes for an appointment I made in advanced which is unacceptable. Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.

I love the people there and the fact that it's clean. The bathroom is very clean. I have walked in without an appointment and been served within 10 minutes. I really should make an appointment but I forget. This time I went with my aunt and my cousin and two of my granddaughters. They were very accommodating although I had called ahead. They fit us in right away and did a beautiful job on our nails. We even got a little discount for the little ones. Nice place and they do a good job.
