Great view of the mountains and from the patio you get a great view of the sunset. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's a nice place and has a kids play area in the back corner. They make a mean whiskey or pisco sour. They didn't have pizza when I visited so I tried the pasta with red sauce. It was quite bland (but that's typical Chilean cuisine IMO). My friend had the salad with pears, blue cheese and chicken. Chicken was unseasoned but that's no surprise. The tiramisu was pretty good. Very creamy, I think they use cream cheese. It might not be traditional but it was tasty and definitely big enough to be shared. read more

S O GOOOOOOOOD! We asked around some locals for recommendations for lunch, and this place was by far the most mentioned. The view, ambience, service, food - everything was great. The restaurant is located right next to a vineyard, so the views are just so peaceful. I ordered a pasta dish with truffle - so incredibly delicious! What a lovely place! Simple but enchanting. First, we got picked by a horse and buggy and taken on a tour of the vines. By the way, there is a hotel in the middle of the vine. I wish I would have had the time to spend the night there. It is so unique. After the vine tour, we got down to business. We tasted several wines and they were very good. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. However, wine list is very limited and the Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc was returned as old and dirty. No Casablanca Sauvignon Blanc listed. Red wine list is also limited and out of stock on numerous listings (eg, Montes). As mentioned a very plain and limited wine list. One goes to a restaurant for the food, but comes back for the service. I was highly disappointed with how unprofessional the stuff was. Imagine your waiter wearing a cheap jacket over his uniform, not asking even once how your dinner is going, and showing clear preference for other tables by providing them with olive oil for their meals and a decanter for their wine. Sadly, it seems that one has to act quite snobbish in order to be treated with respect. Foodwise, all of our dishes were well presented and tasted fine. However, there were dishes that they did not have (osso buco) and at least three wines unavailable. I consider this unforgettable given that the vineyards are literally next door to the restaurant. Overall, we (a group of nine people) did not enjoy our dinner given the unprofessional service that was given to us. read more

Vino Bello has beautiful ambiance! I loved it! The food is delicious and the proprietors are very warm, welcoming, accomodating and speak English, Spanish and Italian. I had the ravioli and it was the best I have ever tasted. It is family friendly and has seating both inside and out. The patio seating looks out over a vineyard and in the summer you can take a carriage ride to the winery and to a nearby hotel. We walked on the carriage path and visited the winery and it was lovely. I HIGHLY recommend this Italian restaurant, Vino Bello, if you are ever in Santa Cruz, Chile. It is even worth a day trip from Santiago! 5 stars! read more

This place! Ate here twice in 2 days during our vacation. Absolutely loved the ambiance in a perfect setting with vineyard and sunset views. Great vine list and extensive food options. The bread they serve is amazing with this tomato based dipping sauce. I had the Alfredo with ham and the gnocchi with tomato and basil. My husband had mushroom risotto. All delicious.
