I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Nena and her team. We hired her 8 months before our wedding and she was there every step of the way. She was fast to respond to emails, helped us stay on track and offered her advice when we weren't sure on some decisions. The best advice is to trust her and her experience. We live in Minnesota so we put a lot of our trust in her to suggest the right vendors and help us develop our vision from many miles away. My friend and I bought a package through TravelZoo and were very excited to try this place out. The staff agreed to honor our vouchers past the expiration date which was awesome (their availability had been limited). Unfortunately when we got there they hadn't communicated internally and there was confusion about our services and the vouchers. Massage, wine, foot soak/scrub, and cheese plate were great BUT after my massage we asked for the champagne hand scrub we paid for on the voucher and the receptionist said the owner was upset they accepted our voucher, wouldn't give us the hand scrub, and we also didn't get the appetizer promised (and paid for) on the voucher. All in all it was a big disappointment due to their lack of communication and then the owner leaving a bad taste after her staff had been great. I went from being ready to join their VIP club to complaining to TravelZoo about not getting the services we paid for and letting friends know that this small boutique spa wasn't worth the drive - too much competition out there to renege on coupons that you sell. Beware of the "Couples massage"! I hate to write this review as I'm typically easy to please but have to say a few things since I specifically picked this place based on the Yelp reviews. Went for our anniversary and were very disappointed. We arrived 15 mins early and were told the massage therapists weren't there yet and we had to come back. Once we came back we were shuffled off in to separate massage rooms. I've never had this happen when you pay extra for a COUPLES package. My massage table was broken and couldn't relax because I had to support my own head. The walls are paper thin and could hear even outside noises. We were told the package included wine tasting, cheese platter, and a fruit and nut platter. Only got the cheese. The wine tasting room was closed. It's a separate company but nobody even knew the hours of operation which they're advertising as part of what you're paying for. There's ZERO reason to book as a couple. Save yourself a lot of money and book separate packages if this is a place you definitely want to try. When I contacted the owner she was very defensive and didn't want to hear much of what I had to say. She agreed to refund me the difference between two individual and a couples packages. Not holding my breath whether I'll receive the check or not. Oh and silly side point it's 15-20 mins from Paso Robles, not 5 like website says. Don't really care if it's a "boutique spa" as the owner told me. I still want what I paid for. read more

From the moment we entered the studio all the way to getting dropped off, was truly a wonderful day! First off, Nena (the owner) was very accommodating while I was trying to make my Mom's 75th Birthday a surprise. She (and her staff) did everything they could to play along. The massage I received from Dr. Stacy was soooo good!! I wish I lived nearby, I would definitely be a regular. Then the foot soak & scrub was wonderful from a very sweet girl (sorry I am terrible at remembering names), along with the wine and cheese (yum!) etc. After all of that, Nena personally took my Mom & I to 3 of her favorite wineries and they did not disappoint! Oso Libre was fun and really great energy going on. Then came Hammersky. Again, I can't remember her name but what a really wonderful girl that waited on us in the tasting room. It was a beautiful place, loved the wine and that is where Nena set up a picnic lunch for us that was just wonderful! We then went to Whalebone and had a lot of fun there too! We enjoyed the wine, the people were so nice and inviting and it was a very comfortable place to be. The guy helping us (I believe he is the owner's nephew) had a smile that never stopped and my Mom was a chatter box with him. They also had delicious olive oils & vinegars. After that Nena dropped us off at the location of my Mom's surprise party! It was perfect!!! I have been here on two occasions and both experiences were excellent. My mom and I went here for a pedi and massage, followed by a tasting at the Barrel Room. About a month ago, four of my girlfriends and I did the spa and wine tour. We had such a great time and my girlfriends were raving about the service and the overall concept. We started the day with massages, foot soaks and scrubs, and wine of course. Then Nena took us out in the shuttle to three wineries, and she also set up a beautiful and tasty lunch for us at Oso Libre. Nena, the owner, is awesome and so knowledgeable about the area. It is obvious that she has great business relationships with the wineries, and she caters to the interests of her clients. The packages offered at this spa are a no-brainer for any girls' weekend, bridal shower, bachelorette, or birthday. The spa also offers other services such as dermaplane, botox, facials, and peels. I cannot wait to return here for another spa day!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place and its owner, Nena. She was delightful and intelligent. She totally made our visit special. It was somewhat out of our way but we are so glad we took the chance. My sister got a massage, which she raved about and she is probably one of the toughest customers I know. I got a facial and it was very relaxing and refreshing. We both really enjoyed the foot bath. How indulgent to have wine and honey-drizzled cheese while our feet got some high-quality attention! I love the idea of using wine products throughout the spa experience...so clever. We also enjoyed our tasting at the Barrel Room, which is a Vino+therapy partner; another fun idea. We are hoping they have a spot closer to us soon but will definitely go back in the meantime! read more

We reserved one of the speicals that included a massage, foot scrub, fruits, wine, truffles + a limo driven 3 hour wine tour w/lunch. When we called to confirm we were told she was booked and could not handle our reservation. Nina also stated that our resevation request must have gone in her spam folder? We had her written confirmation + number. So ~ she said she would handle us; but we could not have the massage portion of the package until 4 p.m. After a 2nd call, Nina did say she could make a wine tour reservation with Edith @ Cal Limo. This was an unbelievable experience and I will review her company on another review. BUT when we returned to Vino Therapy we waited several minutes and then found out we were only getting a 1/2 hour massage. It was very good; but oh too short. The foot massage was a joke. We were not given any choice of wine; a glass of red wine was poured and we were given 1 truffle and sat for 1/2 hour in water w/ wine and lavender in a very small bucket outside right by the sidewalk + it was oh so hot. My feet itched and I couldn't wait to get my feet out of the tub. For this portion of the package we paid what she normally charges for a hour massage + foot scrub. We felt very cheated. We were also told because of the mix up she would throw in some extras. There was nothing, nor did we even get the fruit promised. Not that this is a big thing; but you like to get what you thought you were paying for! This package was booked because we saw Nina at a bridal show. We were told this would be an excellent place for a bachelorette party ~ no way! This is the first titme I have ever complained about poor service; but felt Nina's organization skills are lacking and because of that her business will suffer. read more

These folks are GREAT! I scheduled a massage for my daughter for her birthday but there was a mix-up about the times. The owner and staff went way beyond expectations in making it right for us! My daughter had a very enjoyable massage and a bonus pedicure and the owner threw in some extra treats (a facial and a beautiful bag from Guatemala) as well. Oh, and if you're a non-drinker, they have lovely teas to replace the wine. The studio itself is charming and has a very peaceful and soothing atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly. I can't say enough good things about Vino+Therapy Studio!! I took 11 girls in total there for a bachelorette party recently and the girls there were some of the sweetest people I've ever met, not to mention so accommodating and so helpful during the entire planning process as well as the actual spa day. My sister, the bride, was SO happy that we did this for her. Such a treat!! We got the foot soak and chair massage and everyone could not stop talking about how amazing it was afterwards. Vino & Wine Therapy came to our location (Lake Nacimiento) for a 55th B-day party of 10. The experience was wonderful. Everybody got pampered (massages and foot soaks and massages). Nena is an absolute doll. She makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. The appetizers and Wine Sprtizers were delish! Nena also hooked us up with a local chef who came to the house and prepared a 3 course meal for us. No cooking or cleaning, only pampering. Such an amazing evening. read more

Just experienced an event at a tasting room. They arrived late, therefore were behind schedule and we did not get all services promised for the price. We were supposed to get a hand and foot massage. I used to sell essential oils and gave a foot spa for free. $130 for a foot massage and salad and a take home face scrub, way over-priced. Overall, disappointing. read more

Nena from Vino Fiore was nothing less than amazing. She was my day-of coordinator but she was with me well before the day of my wedding. My entire wedding weekend went so smoothly and I felt so comfortable knowing Nena was in charge. She went above and beyond with my wedding venue. I had ideas in my head on how I wanted the venue decorated and when I saw it for the first time, I was blown away. Nena and her team absolutely killed it! For example, I showed my bridesmaids a garland table runner I wanted on my sweetheart table and they didn't exactly know what they were doing. Once Nena arrived she took over and made it look even better than the picture! As far as coordinating throughout the evening, I was able to truly enjoy my reception because Nena had everything covered. If anything went horribly wrong, I had no idea and that is exactly how it should be for the bride. If you are contemplating whether or not to spend a little bit extra for a coordinator, I would say definitely do it and hire Nena and her team. I have never seen a business misrepresent themselves as much as Vino Therapy. I had booked a wine tour and treatment months in advance. A few days prior to going, I confirmed appointment. I was frustrated when I was told that I had no reservation. It was only after I sent in a string of emails confirming my conversations and responses with Nina. She originally was very short and insisted that it was somehow my fault. She called back and stated that she could accomodate me. I was thrilled based on what I thought I was going to receive and enjoy. The massage was acceptable but barely 30 minutes. I could not wait for the agony of the foot soak and scub to be over. The winesoak and scrub entailed a small bucket with water,lavendar tossed in and corked wine. Overall spa experience was disappointing at best. The wine tour portion of the day was amazing. I understand this was an outside company that was hired by Vino Therapy. I have to praise Nina for selecting this firm. Based on my experience, I would never return to Vino Therapy Salon. read more

I had a coupon for $40 for a 30 min massage. I called to schedule and asked what was included in the $40 coupon. I was informed that is was a 30 min massage, 30 min foot soak, a small cheese plate and a glass of wine. I thought to myself perfect $40 for all that, I am in. It is a small place but very relaxing. I got my foot soak first along with the cheese plate and glass of wine. While eating the owner asked if I wanted more cheese and then decided to make me an appetizer off her menu. Then time for the massage which was amazing. However when I went to pay my total was way more than $40. I looked at the receipt and she charged me for the cheese plate (which was suppose to be included) and for the appetizer that SHE decided to make. I found that to be very tacky and unprofessional.. Don't offer things to your guests and then charge them for it and also don't explain to them what they get for $40 and then charge them for things that are suppose to be included. My friend and I went and shared the cheese plate which she charged both of us $10 for. It wasn't worth $20. read more
